[00:00:00] Speaker A: WVUA FM, Tuscaloosa. [00:00:09] Speaker B: You are listening to WVUA 90.7 FM, Tuscaloosa. Student section fantasy sports my name is Jamie Martinez, and I'm joined by Jake Riker, Lincoln Burkholder and Zach L. Rod. On today's episode, we're going to be doing our way too early. 2024 to 25 NFL season fantasy draft we're going to randomize a draft order once again between the four of us and draft a fantasy lineup based on how we think they're going to perform next season. We have the same kind of set up as last time. Last draft, we did our redraft. This time we're looking forward to next season. The Super bowl is over. It was a heck of a game. Yeah. As a 49 ER fan, I'm kind of sad and I don't really want to talk about it, but yeah. So for this draft, we have a quarterback, two running backs, two receivers, two flex spots, a tight end kicker and defense. And if we have the time, we have two bench spots as well. So I forgot to pull up the randomized order. So you know what? For the first 30 seconds, why don't we talk about the Super bowl for just a sec while I pull up the draft order? Jake, what do you think about the Super bowl? [00:01:14] Speaker C: Wow. I know a lot of people hated on the first half slow. [00:01:19] Speaker A: Yeah, I did. [00:01:20] Speaker C: Wasn't a shootout, but both defenses looked fantastic. And then the second half, I mean, what a game. What a game it was. Can't ask for a better opportunity to watch some football win. The last game of the year to crown world champion goes to overtime. I mean, more free. Yeah. [00:01:39] Speaker A: Granted, I had to watch Patrick Mahomes win another Super bowl. Actually, I had to watch Broncos legend John Elway hand deliver the Super bowl trophy to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Raiders stadium. [00:01:50] Speaker B: Wow. [00:01:52] Speaker C: The one thing about the Super bowl for Broncos, I'm not going to sit here and glorify Patrick Mahomes, although he does deserve his flowers after the Super bowl run he just pulled off. But the Chiefs defense is real, and I think the Chiefs secondary is the best in the league going into next year. [00:02:09] Speaker B: I think so. Trent McDuffie and Lajarius knee just locked down that niner secondary. [00:02:14] Speaker C: So tough. Yeah, they're so good. [00:02:17] Speaker B: Yeah. All right, I got the list pulled up. [00:02:19] Speaker C: Here we go. [00:02:20] Speaker B: I'm going to randomize just like last time. Jake is one, Lincoln's two, Zach's three. I'm four. Let's randomize. And our order is four. Oh, so I'm one, two is Lincoln, three is Jake and four is Zach. [00:02:34] Speaker A: Are any of those picks what we had last time? Okay, I'm not sure I had one last time. [00:02:39] Speaker B: I'm one this time. You're two. [00:02:42] Speaker A: Yeah, I know. I switched to. [00:02:43] Speaker B: Okay, so, all right, Jamie's on the clock. I am already picking. I'm already on the clock. And, man, he landed right on my lap. I'm going to take the offensive player of the year, Christian McCaffrey. [00:02:54] Speaker A: What a bombshell. [00:02:56] Speaker B: Yeah. Shocker to everybody. [00:02:58] Speaker A: Twitter. Let the people know Jamie picked Christian McCaffrey. [00:03:01] Speaker B: Yeah. I hope everybody on Twitter voted for who had the best draft wherever they figured because we weren't keeping track, but yeah, Christian McCaffrey, the bona fide number one offensive player of the year, he should be the first overall pick in a lot of drafts. So CMC is who I'm going to go at that one spot. Two. Let's go to Lincoln. [00:03:17] Speaker A: I'm not going to waste any time here. He missed a number of games this season, but in the games that he played, he was still the best wide receiver on the planet. [00:03:24] Speaker C: I like it. [00:03:24] Speaker A: I'm going to take Justin Jefferson, number two. I don't think there's another player there that I can justify. And I think if you're at number two and you're not picking whoever's available between CNC and Justin Jefferson, you're doing it wrong. He's closer to the number one overall pick than he is to number three, and I'm going to take Justin Jefferson. [00:03:42] Speaker C: Yeah. I'd have to agree. Looking at this draft, looking at the rankings going into next year, I mean, who knows what the QB position looks like next year for Minnesota? I'm assuming it's going to be Kirk Cousins, but he might get traded. Actually, I feel like there's a pretty high chance he does get traded, but I think the Vikings will replace Bo Nicks. Replace him? Yeah. And honestly, it doesn't matter who the QB is, Justin Jefferson is going to thrive. I would think so. That's a great pick. You're right. I mean, there's a huge fall off from pick one and two to three. [00:04:10] Speaker A: And that's no disrespect to Tyree kill. [00:04:13] Speaker B: Not at all. [00:04:14] Speaker C: So I'm going to go with a guy that I had this year who was in my best league, had my best team. I'm going to go Tyree kill. [00:04:21] Speaker B: Yeah. Easy pick. [00:04:22] Speaker C: Just going to keep it. I think if the Dolphins can kind of regroup, build up that offensive line, tua can get a full season with. [00:04:28] Speaker A: Are you going to trade him in week twelve? [00:04:31] Speaker C: I might. [00:04:32] Speaker D: Just. [00:04:32] Speaker C: So I've been panicking it. I will. [00:04:34] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm panicking already. I have a huge panic button right next to me. I'm slamming it. [00:04:39] Speaker C: You laugh now, but he didn't play week 15 and he has. Week 16 and 17 were both poor. So laugh at me all you want. [00:04:46] Speaker B: Laugh now, cry later. [00:04:47] Speaker A: I was about to say that. [00:04:50] Speaker B: All right, Zach got back to back. [00:04:52] Speaker D: I think, for the QB position. I'm going to go a little spicy right here. [00:04:55] Speaker B: QB, wow. [00:04:56] Speaker D: Got a great season this year and I think he's in for a lot of mvps in his future. And that's CJ Stroud. [00:05:01] Speaker B: Wow. First QB off the board, CJ Stroud. [00:05:04] Speaker D: I like CJ. And then risque. [00:05:07] Speaker C: CJ Stroud at the one four. That's awesome. [00:05:10] Speaker B: I love that. I love CJ Stroud. [00:05:13] Speaker C: Once again, we are doing PPR scoring. We're not doing standard. We're going to keep it. [00:05:18] Speaker D: I'm just going to say it. Saquon Barkley did say he was going to be the best running back in the league. [00:05:22] Speaker C: I did. See, I like Barkley next year, but. [00:05:24] Speaker D: I'm definitely, I'm definitely not going to. Yeah, I guess I gotta go CD. [00:05:29] Speaker B: Gotta go see Darian Lamb. [00:05:31] Speaker C: I like it. [00:05:33] Speaker A: You're up again, Zach. [00:05:35] Speaker B: No, just Stroud and CD. [00:05:38] Speaker A: I didn't hear the CD part. I heard the Stroud part. [00:05:43] Speaker C: I think I'm going to double up on receiver. Honestly, I like what this receiver is going to do next year. I think if his quarterback is back and healthy, and I think they're definitely back for vengeance because a lot of people are saying that this is the only team that could beat up the Bengals. Well, I just said it, the Chiefs dynasty because they kind of have the Chiefs number in the playoffs. So I'm going to go. Jamar Chase had a little bit of an underwhelming year this year, but I like what he does next year. I think he has a big year of Burrows back and the Bengals can get something clicking. [00:06:13] Speaker B: Yeah, he saw it a thousand yards after missing a good amount of games and a good amount of touchdowns. So yeah, Jamar Chase is a very safe pick. [00:06:19] Speaker C: The no RB strategy until David Najoku. [00:06:22] Speaker B: Falls, that was kind of the move this season. Well, no, it wasn't. I don't know. [00:06:25] Speaker A: All right, Lincoln, I am going to take a running back, actually, but not look at an ESPN mock draft here to get these players and their rankings. But I'm going to go with Bijean Robinson. [00:06:38] Speaker B: I hate you so much. [00:06:40] Speaker A: The first snipe of the episode, Arthur Smith is gone. He is gone. Bijean Robinson is free. And he was a generational running back prospect for a reason. I turned on that tape. I was nothing short of impressed. He looked fantastic when he had the ball this season. He had a couple of big games. I mean, he's RB eight this season. So as a rookie, I would expect the offensive line to get a little bit better. I think they'll get at least one more piece in the offseason, whether it's draft or free agency. And I really, really like Raheem Morris. That Rams offense that he was a part of in Los Angeles focused on the running game a lot and it involved a lot of checkdowns. And if he plays the role that Kyron Williams played in Los Angeles, Bijan Robinson could score 35 points a week. So I'm going to take BiJean Robinson at the 203. [00:07:31] Speaker B: Yeah, that's an absolute snipe. And that really hurt my feelings because I had him as my most improved player for this season. [00:07:38] Speaker A: He's my RB one. [00:07:41] Speaker B: Bijan was about to be my RB two in my team. So that's that kind of. [00:07:45] Speaker A: Yeah, RB two for 2024. [00:07:46] Speaker B: But you know what? I got sniped. I have back to back picks. I'm going to go running back again and go all RB. I'm going to go Bries hall for the jets. Positionally, he's projected to go really high, projected to have a big year. He really heated up towards the end of the season. A lot of big time performances. Also in his rookie year before he tore his ACL, he was lighting up the field alongside Aaron Rodgers. I think he's going to see a lot of opportunity when it comes to checkdowns because that offense is going to be on the field much more than they were with Zach Wilson. So I think the opportunities are endless with Bries hall. He is a do it all guy. He runs it like nobody else. He can get it through the air. Bries hall is a touchdown monster. So that's going to be my RB two on my squad and now I need a receiver and I'm going to take it easy here. I'm going to go with a solidified baller and Amon Ross St. Brown of the Detroit Lions. What a season he had. He is a reception monster in PPR. If he's going to get you 100 plus catches, then you are set. He's a touchdown machine. He's great after the catch. He's fast, he scores a lot of touchdowns, and he's Jared Goff's favorite target. So I'm going to go with the Lions receiver, amen Ra St. Brown. That gets me Brie hall and amen raw right there. I love that. [00:09:03] Speaker A: All right, next up, Lincoln is me again. Second pick of the third round here. I've got Bijean and Jay Jettas right now, and I'm going to go double LSU. I'm going to take Jamar Chase. Oh, you did? [00:09:18] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:09:19] Speaker A: Shoot. I'm off my game tonight. [00:09:22] Speaker C: All right. [00:09:22] Speaker A: I did have a backup pick, and that's going to be Jamir Gibbs. I fully expect David Montgomery to still be a part of that offense. I don't think he's going to disappear. And there may be some goal line work where there may be times in the season where you look at ESPN and you're like, okay, why does David Montgomery have four carries and two touchdowns? And Jameir Gibbs hasn't gotten into the end zone yet. But in the games where they featured him as the lead back, he was averaging well north of 20 points a game. He doesn't need a ton of touches to score you a ton of fantasy points. He needs 150 yard run and you should be good. The receiving value is there. David Montgomery is used in the receiving game, but not nearly as much as Jameir Gibbs is. And I think the ceiling is the Moon. I think RB one is easily a possibility for Jameir Gibbs if he's featured the way that I think he will be. Ben Johnson stayed for a reason, and it was to use this guy. So I'm going to take Jameir Gibbs at the two or 302. [00:10:19] Speaker B: It's a good pick. [00:10:19] Speaker C: I love it. I think. Wait, hold on, Zach, before I make my pick. Zach, who's on your team right now? Yeah, who do you got on your team right now? [00:10:28] Speaker D: I got CJ Stroud and who else? I picked CD Lamb. [00:10:32] Speaker C: Okay, I was going to say, I thought CD Lamb was still there for a second. Am I going to get CD Lamb, too? Okay, that makes more sense. All right, well, so far we got two receivers, Tyreek and Kamar Chase. I don't know. Let's see. I kind of need a running back. You know, I'm going to take my first running back of the draft. I'm going to go Kyron Williams. Nobody's taking him, right? [00:11:00] Speaker B: No. That's a great pick. [00:11:01] Speaker C: I love what he did last year, the end of the year, when he was healthy for the Rams. I just typed Karen Williams. It's definitely not, but I like him in that Rams offense. I think he definitely solidified him as the RB one in LA next year for the Rams. That is. So I'm going to take him. [00:11:19] Speaker B: That's a great pick. I can't hate on that at all. [00:11:24] Speaker D: Got a lot of options here. I do need to run him back, so I do kind of want to take Saquon for his word, but Travis ETN is right there. I'm going to go sequan Barkley. Why not? [00:11:38] Speaker C: I like it. [00:11:39] Speaker B: Got to go save. [00:11:40] Speaker C: I was going to say whoever you don't take out of those two will be on my team next. And with you taking Saquon, I'm going to jump right in and take in Travis ETN. [00:11:48] Speaker D: Well, I got another. [00:11:50] Speaker C: Oh, is he going to snipe me? [00:11:53] Speaker B: That'd be nasty. [00:11:54] Speaker A: That'd be so nasty. [00:11:56] Speaker D: Should I do it? [00:11:58] Speaker B: You have a receiver? [00:11:59] Speaker D: I do. Running back, too. I need RVT. [00:12:02] Speaker B: That's a great pick. That's a great pick. Travis et. Oh, my God. Why not let it flow. [00:12:08] Speaker A: That's what I like to see. [00:12:09] Speaker C: This is so dumb. [00:12:11] Speaker A: I feel kind of bad, though. We like robbed him of Travis Kelsey last time he had to start David Najoku and now we're just stealing his picks again. [00:12:20] Speaker B: This is awesome. [00:12:21] Speaker C: Yeah, really awesome. [00:12:22] Speaker A: Poor Jake, man. [00:12:23] Speaker C: That's okay. [00:12:24] Speaker B: This is amazing. We love having fun. [00:12:28] Speaker C: Well, let me go back and look for my pick now that Travis Etienne has just got taken. You know, that would be quite funny if I did that now. I'm not going to do that. That's not that funny. [00:12:47] Speaker B: It's not that funny, Jake. [00:12:48] Speaker C: It's not. I was about to take a tight end, but that'd be stupid. [00:12:52] Speaker B: You're going to take David and Joku? [00:12:53] Speaker A: I was thinking, yeah, I like Najoku next year. Like, I thought about Kelsey. [00:12:59] Speaker C: This is kind of hard. It's not just clear cut. I think I'm going to go. I'm going to fill my rb two spot. I'm going to go Jonathan Taylor. That was a bad voice crack, but I think Jonathan Taylor let me look. [00:13:15] Speaker A: For another pick while I'm sitting. [00:13:16] Speaker C: He can stay healthy. I mean, when he was healthy this year, he put in some good work, especially with Richardson back there at quarterback. I think both of them are going to be really good next year in the AFC South. I think they have a chance of winning the division. They could put a fight up with Houston. So I'm going to take Jonathan Taylor as my RB two. [00:13:36] Speaker B: It's a great pick. [00:13:37] Speaker A: All right, so I got a pivot here, but I mean, obviously it's the fourth round of a four man draft, so the board is still quite full of players that I like and I'm going to take AJ Brown easy to fill in my wide receiver two spot. He's the best player on the board in my opinion. He may have had a down end of the year. It wasn't what you were expecting from AJ Brown after what he did to start the season where he was averaging like 25 points a game. But I have no problem taking him in the fourth round here as my wide receiver. Two tolement Justin Jefferson. I think Jalen Hurts is a good quarterback. I think he'll have no problem getting the ball to AJ Brown next year and I would expect another big year out of him. [00:14:16] Speaker B: All right, I got back to back picks here. I'm going to have fun with this. So this is a projection for next season and we saw what Nakua did this year and Pukanakua was nasty. [00:14:27] Speaker C: Are you taking Puka? [00:14:28] Speaker B: But Pukanakua was a rookie. I'm going to take a rookie here and I think Marvin Harrison Jr. For the Arizona Cardinals. I'm going to say he goes to the Cardinals alongside Kyler Murray. Kyler Murray was phenomenal with DeAndre Hopkins when DeAndre Hopkins was there. I think Marvin Harrison Jr. As a rookie has all of the tools to be a top receiver in the NFL early. Pukanakua set all these records in one season. We've seen rookie receivers break out year after year with Jefferson Chase, Odell Beckhamback the day Puka Nakua. I think Marvin Harrison has all the tools to be the next great receiver. So I'm going to take Marvin Harrison Jr. I like that as my wide receiver, too, and I was just talking about Nakua. I got back to back picks. Why not take Pukunakua as my flex spot? So I'm going to take Marvin Harrison and Nakua here to solidify those receivers. So I'm having fun here. Marvin Harrison, I love that. [00:15:16] Speaker C: I love it. [00:15:18] Speaker A: All right, I've got a lot of options here. Most of them are pretty similar in talent level, but this will be my flex spot that I'm going to fill here and it's going to go he had a horrible quarterback situation or my first flex spot. He had a horrible quarterback situation this year. He wasn't supposed to, though, and he won't next year. And that's Garrett Wilson in New York. I was high on him this year for a reason. I fully expected him to be one of the top wide receivers in fantasy with Aaron Rodgers as his quarterback. Aaron Rodgers at this moment will supposed to be his quarterback next season. It's Aaron Rodgers. So you never know. He could just disappear in the season. But for now, Aaron Rodgers is a quarterback. Gary Wilson's the wide receiver one and he's got all the talent to be a top three wide receiver in fantasy football next season. [00:16:07] Speaker C: Oh, I'm up. All right. I got two running backs so far, two receivers. I'm thinking I'm going to fill my flex spot maybe. Yeah, I think I'm going to do that. I love what he did this year. He proved himself as a top fantasy player, not just at his position this year. So I think he's going to have a breakout year, too. I'm just kidding. I'm not going with the flex plot. I'm going with Sam Laporta. I'm taking a tight end off the board. I'm not getting stuck with David Njo. [00:16:35] Speaker B: David Njoku snubbed. [00:16:36] Speaker C: I like what Laporta did last year and I love what I think he's going to do next year in that Detroit offense. I think he's going to thrive with, like Lincoln said, ben Johnson staying. Jamir Gibbs is staying. If golfster QB golf loves his tight ends. So I'm going to take the year to break out Sam Laporta. [00:16:55] Speaker D: Dang. Okay. [00:16:56] Speaker C: Can't snipe me in a position anymore. [00:16:58] Speaker B: Here's Zach. How about you make your first pick? After your first pick, we'll go to a little break and then we'll be back with you for your back to back. Okay. [00:17:05] Speaker D: All right. For this pick, I think I want to play it safe since I got CD. I got a big time score right there with my wide receiver one. So for my wide receiver two, I think I'm going to go Mike Evans. [00:17:15] Speaker C: I like it. That's a great pick, Mike. Guaranteed 1000 yards. [00:17:18] Speaker B: Yeah, it's guaranteed, baby. He was a second All Pro second team this year. So that's a great pick. And with that, we're going to be right back after a short intermission, continuing our 2024 to 25 fantasy draft, Zach will be back with his second of back to back picks. We'll see you soon. [00:17:33] Speaker D: I'll be back, guys. [00:17:43] Speaker A: WVuafm, Tuscaloosa. [00:17:53] Speaker B: Welcome back to WVUA 90.7 fm, the Capstone. We're back with our fantasy draft for the 2024 to 25 NFL season. Zach, we're back with your back to back picks. Let's get it rolling. [00:18:08] Speaker D: Well, I thought about it for a second, guys, and I think I'm going to go with someone. I can't go with the left tackle, so I can't go with George Kittle, so I'm going to go with the next best thing. Travis Kelsey just won a ring, just beat George. This is sad to see it happen. [00:18:25] Speaker C: But too soon, maybe for Jamie. [00:18:27] Speaker B: Yeah. Most receiving yards out of all the tight ends, who did you pick at. [00:18:31] Speaker A: The end of the last round? Again, the pick before Travis Kelsey. [00:18:36] Speaker D: I picked Mike Evans. [00:18:37] Speaker B: Mike Evans. [00:18:38] Speaker A: Okay. [00:18:40] Speaker C: My back up? [00:18:41] Speaker A: I think so, yeah. Awesome. [00:18:44] Speaker C: All right, my first pick of this round going back to the top of the order. I'm going to fill my flex spot. I got my two running backs, I got my two receivers. I got my tight end. So I'm going to stat pack the wide receiver position a little bit. He had a very underwhelming end of this year, but he's still on a good team. I still believe he's a top receiver in the league and he has one of the top quarterbacks in the league. So I'm going to go with the wide receiver one in Buffalo. I'm going with Stefan Diggs. [00:19:08] Speaker B: Stefan Diggs. [00:19:09] Speaker C: I like him. I still like him. Next year I think he can put up some numbers and I know it's a four person draft, but he's my wide receiver. Three. [00:19:18] Speaker B: It's a safe pick. [00:19:19] Speaker C: I'll take. [00:19:19] Speaker B: It's a safe pick. We'll say that it's a good pick. [00:19:24] Speaker A: What do I want to do here? I still have a flex spot to fill and I still have a tight end spot to fill, but I will worry about those later and I'll take Josh Allen, right? [00:19:37] Speaker B: Yeah. Easy. [00:19:39] Speaker A: He's easily the best quarterback on the board fantasy wise. He was the QB one this year. There's a good chance that he's the QB one again next year because of the dual threat ability. Don't have a quarterback. Why not take the best one in fantasy football? In my opinion. He helped me in a number of leagues this season and he's on my dynasty team, so he'll be helping me in a number in at least one league next season. Josh Allen is my quarterback. [00:20:03] Speaker B: Great pick. Okay, I guess it's back to me. I kind of forgot that it's back to me. Okay, so I have two rbs, two receivers, a flex. So I could use another flex. I don't have a tight end. I don't have a quarterback. But again, I feel like I can worry about those later. I'm going to go back. What do I do here? I think I'm going to go receiver. I'm going to go DJ Moore. I love that pick from the Chicago Bears. DJ Moore was phenomenal this season. And who's his quarterback if they go Caleb Williams. He had Justin Fields and Tyson banjant. [00:20:43] Speaker C: Whatever his name is, do not hate on Tyson Badgett. Yeah, he's a D two football legend. [00:20:49] Speaker B: Yeah, he had those two quarterbacks this season and still was like wide receiver. Eight. So if he gets Caleb Williams as his QB one. Yeah. If Caleb Williams is halfway decent, DJ Moore could be a top five wide receiver in fantasy football. So yeah, all the tools are there for DJ Moore to be an absolute baller. So DJ Moore, who is who I'll be taking at my flex spot and then I need a tight end. So I'm going to go back on this rookie train. I took Marvin Harrison Jr. [00:21:16] Speaker C: I was going to take him later in the draft. [00:21:18] Speaker B: I'm taking Brock Bowers because in my opinion, Brock Bowers is going to be a charger. I think he's going to be a charger at that five spot. Bowers and Justin Herbert in that Harbaugh offense is disgusting. [00:21:32] Speaker C: Until Harbaugh takes JJ McCarthy in the first. [00:21:35] Speaker B: Yeah, and then that McCarthy to Bowers connection. That's nasty right there. Nonetheless, though, I think Bowers is a great pick here. I think alongside Herbert and Harbaugh, it's going to be gross. So yeah, DJ Moore and Brock Bowers, those are my picks back to Lincoln. [00:21:53] Speaker A: All right, I'm going to get a little weird here. I've got a tight end in mind. He's not the consensus tight end on the board. My next pick was going to be Brock Bowers. [00:22:05] Speaker B: Boom. [00:22:06] Speaker A: For the record. [00:22:07] Speaker B: Correct. [00:22:08] Speaker A: I'm going to go to who I think is my next best option, especially upside wise. He was fantastic down the stretch with Kyler Murray as his quarterback. And he is without a doubt their tight end. One next season in Arizona, it's Trey McBride. [00:22:21] Speaker B: It's a great pick. [00:22:22] Speaker A: He's in his third season now. I believe he had your patented second year tight end breakout. He's athletic, he's dynamic, and he's going to be in a receiving cord that probably doesn't have a ton of reliable options. I think he'll be fantastic once again this season, except for for the entire year this time. So I'm going to take Trey McBride. [00:22:39] Speaker B: He had a crazy second half of the year he shredded San Francisco. I remember that. Trey McBride is lethal. [00:22:45] Speaker C: All right, I guess I'm back on the clock. I got my two running backs, my two receivers. I got one guy in the flex. I could fill my second flex guy. But this pick is solely for my mother. Listening back home. She was not happy after last week's show that I didn't take any Baltimore Ravens. I didn't take Lamar or Tucker. So this pick is for you, mom. My quarterback in fantasy. Yeah, Edwards is. I'm taking Lamar Jackson for my QB one. Let's go. I think he's going to thrive under Tod Munkins offense again. I think he's finally going to have an OC for two years in a row that's not named Greg Roman. We saw what Lamar was able to do this year in a different offense when he was able to use his weapons in the air raid this year other than just his legs. Almost got a second mvp unanimously. [00:23:35] Speaker D: Should have been. [00:23:36] Speaker B: Yep, should have been. [00:23:37] Speaker C: But I think he's just going to continue to thrive and that offense might be even better next year with Tod Munkin there again if it wasn't for. [00:23:45] Speaker D: That one goober that picked Josh Allen once. [00:23:48] Speaker C: There's always one person that can't let Lamar Jackson have his success. [00:23:52] Speaker D: It's always got to be the one hater, man. But anyway, it was a good pick going to my pick. I think I got to pick the guy in Houston since I got his quarterback. I got to pick Nico Collins. [00:24:00] Speaker B: That's a good pick. That's a really good pick. You know what? [00:24:05] Speaker D: I'm going to pick this guy because you all just mentioned Justin Herbert and they got a new coach over there that's good quarterback. So I think I got Keenan Allen. [00:24:15] Speaker B: Nice. [00:24:16] Speaker D: Going to get Keenan Allen. [00:24:17] Speaker B: Keenan Allen was so nasty this year, but he missed time. He was so good. He was the wire receiver one for a good amount of the season. Just sucks that he got hurt, but Keenan Allen's a great pick. He's on a contract year, too. He's going to ball out. [00:24:31] Speaker C: Lincoln's cooking. [00:24:32] Speaker A: Back up. No, the stove is so cold. We are not cooking right now. [00:24:37] Speaker C: Okay, he's not cooking. [00:24:37] Speaker A: You could just not have thought in my ear. [00:24:39] Speaker C: The gears looked like they were moving. [00:24:41] Speaker A: But, well, they were moving like a minute ago. And now I see who I did write down. I'm not 100% sure if he's available. I started writing down everybody, but I missed one person and it could be this guy. But I'm going to try to fill a flex spot with Devon a chain. [00:24:55] Speaker B: He's available. [00:24:56] Speaker A: I would expect him to be their rb one next season. Obviously, Mostert had a really good year this year. You can't discount that when you're looking into next season because he will be on the team next year more than likely. I think he might be a free agent, but even if he is, they'll probably resign him. But Devon a change. The young guy, he's explosive. It's a Mike McDaniel run offense that's going to put up a lot of yards. Whether that's able to win playoff games and championships, we've yet to see. But Tua is going to be able to run that offense well enough that Devon a chain can thrive. He's the most athletic. He's second most athletic player on that football field, maybe the most. He looks just as explosive as Tyreek Hill does at times. I think Devon a chain will be an absolute beast next season and he's going to fill in my final flex spot here. [00:25:44] Speaker B: All right, Jake, come up again. [00:25:46] Speaker C: I thought it was you. [00:25:47] Speaker B: Oh, is it me? Oh, it is me. Never mind. Okay, it's me. I'm on my back to back. I don't have a quarterback, but I can wait because everybody else has a quarterback. So I'm going to start filling out the bench. [00:25:59] Speaker C: I'm just going to start taking you. [00:25:59] Speaker A: Just wait till we play superflux, bro. [00:26:01] Speaker C: Hold on. [00:26:02] Speaker B: Yeah, this ain't no superflux. [00:26:04] Speaker A: Let me cook. [00:26:05] Speaker B: I do need a bench, though. So at running back, I'm pretty sure he hasn't been taken yet. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm going to take Rashad White from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He had a crazy breakout year this year. He was a top ten running back in fantasy. He was phenomenal. Yeah. So Rashad White, I think that is where I'm going to go. I think he has top five RB potential in that Buccaneers offense that completely broke out alongside Baker Mayfield. So Rashad White, that's my pick. But before I make my second pick, we're going to go to a quick intermission continuing our 2024 to 25 NFL season fantasy draft. I just made my first of the back to back picks. I'm here with my second. [00:27:18] Speaker C: You guys really just missed out on our commercial break conversation. [00:27:22] Speaker B: Yeah, we were having some deep conversations about the Yeezy pods shoes. Yeah, we'll be wearing the Yeezy pods to brian. Denny stadium is going to pull up. [00:27:30] Speaker C: To bds with them on next year. [00:27:32] Speaker B: I'm going to go to a chop house, get me a burger with the Yeezys on. Oh, yeah, that's the move. Super classy. Yeah. Back to the draft. I just took rashad white from my bench, but I think I'm going to get it kicked off with our runs of defense and kickers. So I'm going to take the top defense in the NFL, the Baltimore Ravens. Oh, yeah, here. Yeah, I got to do it. It's a great defense with a great coordinator and a lot of great pieces. So they know how to make a defensive line with a bunch of 38 year olds work. [00:28:04] Speaker C: That was like a compliment or a shot. [00:28:07] Speaker B: If Kyle van Noy and javion Clowney are leading you to the top sack team in the NFL, you're doing something right. So I'm going to take that Baltimore Ravens defense and get it started. Let's go. [00:28:18] Speaker A: Now there's a defense who got an update, an update today that I was very excited to hear fantasy wise, and it's the Dallas Cowboys. Mike zimmer is their defensive coordinator. Now, his defenses in Minnesota were always at least above average and there was not normally a ton of talent on those defenses outside of Eric Kendricks and Anthony Harris. [00:28:39] Speaker B: I think Daniel Hunter, Xavier rose. [00:28:41] Speaker A: I mean, Hunter was there towards the end of his run, but he's been out of coaching or he may have been like a defensive assistant this past season somewhere. Not 100% sure, but he's back in a premier role and it's the defensive coordinator for Dallas. It's a team that's going to get back Trayvon Diggs next season. It's a team that is going to return Stefan Gilmore. They're going to return micah Parsons. Demarcus Lawrence will still be on the defensive line. Layton vanderesh, if he sticks around, I think he's a free agent, but if he sticks around, he'll be there on that linebacking core. And I do think they'll go defense in the first round of the draft or maybe offensive line. I'm not 100% sure yet, but they've got a couple of young pieces and they've got some of the best defensive players in football and now a premier defensive coordinator to go with them. I like that a lot. They scored a lot of touchdowns this year. Obviously, that's not, can't predict that to be completely sustainable, but I think they'll be fantastic once again next year. They were this year and I would expect the same with a better defensive, maybe not a better defensive coordinator, but still a high level defensive coordinator. [00:29:46] Speaker C: I like it. While you guys are going on your little defensive train here, I'm going to stack up my bench spots because I don't know why not? [00:29:55] Speaker B: Why not? [00:29:56] Speaker C: So I'm going to take a wide receiver two out of Philadelphia who had a really good first half of the season. I mean, not even just first half, but he had a pretty good season all year long last year or this year, I should say, for Philly. I love Devontae Smith. I think he's going to continue to just get better with the more experience he has in this league. I think if he leaves Philadelphia, not saying that he will or he's projected to, but if he were on any other team. Well, not any other team, but he's a wide receiver one in the NFL. [00:30:23] Speaker B: Yeah, for sure. [00:30:23] Speaker C: Point blank period. But he just so happens to be behind AJ Brown, who's considerably top seven in the league to some people. So he's not the true wide receiver one in Philadelphia. But I like what he does, even fantasy wise. He's a good deep ball threat for Jalen Hurts. So I'm going to take him as my first bench spot. [00:30:42] Speaker B: Nice. [00:30:44] Speaker D: Well, since we're on the defensive train, I think I got to go with. We just raved about them and how they did in the Super bowl. So I think I got to go to the Chiefs and then it's a great pick. [00:30:54] Speaker B: Top secondary in football. [00:30:55] Speaker C: Their defense is gross. [00:30:58] Speaker D: And then going with another Chiefs running back, he did great year, think or not year one, but did great. And I got to go with Isaiah. [00:31:06] Speaker B: Pacheco double it up on Chiefs champs. [00:31:10] Speaker C: I like it. [00:31:11] Speaker B: Nothing wrong with the championship formula. [00:31:12] Speaker A: Back to the Chiefs defense, Man. How about Steve Spagnola? [00:31:15] Speaker B: Yeah, that guy is a mastermind. [00:31:18] Speaker A: Yeah, seriously, watching his. It's cinema. It's pure cinema. [00:31:22] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:31:23] Speaker A: It's actually like if you can like. And I don't have a perfect understanding of NFL defensive schemes, but I have a baseline understanding. And even with just a baseline understanding, it's seriously impressive to watch. [00:31:36] Speaker B: Their man coverage last night was nothing like I've ever seen. [00:31:39] Speaker A: The way that he utilizes the athletes on that defense is something that a lot of defensive coordinators should take notes from. [00:31:47] Speaker C: I think the most impressive about Spags is that he takes the potential that everybody has, everybody on his defense has and plays them in a position and in a scheme where they are all at their top every like every snap on the defense. [00:32:05] Speaker A: Trent McDuffie rushing the passer seven times. [00:32:07] Speaker B: In a. Yeah, Trent McDuffie was not a high pick and he was a first team all pro. Legerius Snead wasn't a first round. I don't even think he was a second round pick. He was a Pro bowl. [00:32:16] Speaker C: He wasn't talked to until I feel like this playoff run this year, Justin. [00:32:19] Speaker B: Reed was riding away on the Texans and now he's here in Kansas City winning two Super Bowls. Yeah. Madden, Damon. [00:32:24] Speaker A: He's 95ft at my safety. [00:32:27] Speaker B: Seriously. But yeah, no, Spagnola is incredible. So let's go back to the draft, though. I don't even remember who's picking. [00:32:33] Speaker A: I was having a Steve Spagnola. [00:32:35] Speaker B: Yeah, I think it's Jake. [00:32:36] Speaker C: Who'd you pick? [00:32:39] Speaker A: I haven't picked yet. [00:32:40] Speaker B: He just picked the chief defense. [00:32:41] Speaker A: I was just talking about Steve Spagnola. My pick is next if I can take Steve Spagnola. Put Steve Spagnola with the Dallas Cowboys defense. Micah Parsons going for 40 sacks. But yeah, I mean, I don't really want to go kicker yet because it's pretty much impossible to predict who's going to be kicker one. It's a guessing game. There's guys that I can predict would be up there, but I'd rather get a bench player here, maybe get somebody who I think has a high ceiling. And that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to pick Romeo Dunze. [00:33:21] Speaker B: I like that. [00:33:22] Speaker A: Roma Dunze. Romeo duns. I think it's Roma Dunn. [00:33:25] Speaker C: Rome. [00:33:25] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:33:26] Speaker A: I have no idea where he's going to be, but I fully expect him to be a top ten pick in the draft. I think teams realize how good he is. I think he's a little bit slept on and overlooked because of the big names, obviously Marvin Harrison Jr. Malik neighbors gets a lot of recognition because he came out of LSU and he was paired with, obviously, Jaden Daniels, who will be more than likely a top three pick in the draft. But I think Roma Dunze is the second best receiver in this class. I don't think it's particularly close. I think he's closer to Marvin Harrison Jr. Than anybody else in this class is to him. [00:33:55] Speaker C: Absolutely. [00:33:56] Speaker A: The film. [00:33:57] Speaker C: I love Marvin Harrison Jr. But he might end up being the. [00:34:01] Speaker A: Physical attributes jump off the screen. He's a fantastic route runner. He's polished, he's refined, he's a mature player. He knows what he's doing. He was just in a fantastic offensive scheme with new Alabama head coach Kaylin Deborah and new Seahawks offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb. If a team can maximize, imagine him in Seattle. Imagine him in LA. [00:34:23] Speaker B: Seattle does not need him. [00:34:24] Speaker C: Well no, I'm just saying. But if he followed Ryan Grubb and. [00:34:27] Speaker A: Then DK KSN, could you imagine Justin Herbert throwing to him? [00:34:33] Speaker B: He's throwing to Brock Bowers. He's on my fan. [00:34:35] Speaker A: He can throw to both of them. [00:34:36] Speaker C: The Chargers would actually take a receiver that produces yards more than 350 in one season. [00:34:41] Speaker B: I think Roma Denze is just Quentin Johnson part two. [00:34:45] Speaker A: No idea where he's going to end up. I don't have a mock draft for this one. I would expect it to be somewhere between like eight and ten in the draft. I think somebody might trade up for him. But yeah, I'm going to take Roma Dunze. I think he's got one of the highest ceilings, probably the second or third highest ceiling of any rookie in this class fantasy wise. And like Jake said, the rookie receivers, they've been breaking out recently. Why can't Romo Dunze do it as well? [00:35:09] Speaker C: Well, I might as well go with the defensive and kicker train because some of us are on it and I might as well get one of them out of the way. So I'm going to do this pick for my mother once again. She's in listening. She said, that's my boy after I took Lamar Jackson. So I'm going to do it again and I'm taking Justin Tucker. Justin Tucker as my kicker. Yeah, that's my pick. [00:35:32] Speaker B: Great pick. All right, back to back, here I am. And unless I completely missed something, the best wide receiver in the NFL has not been taken yet. So on my bench, I'll take Brandon Ayuk. Yeah. [00:35:46] Speaker C: He has not been picked next year. [00:35:47] Speaker B: No, Jamie did not. Like, he's not going to be a patriot. The 49 ers are going to throw a blank check at him because he's awesome. He had 1300 yards this year and I believe seven touchdowns on half the targets of a name like CD Lamb. So I'm going to take Brandon Ayuk. He was incredible. I just think it's a good pick. I don't care what nobody has to say. I'll be biased. And you know what? I'm going to keep the bias train going because my kicker is going to be Jake Moody. Because, wow. You know what? Jake Moody, for all of about 20 minutes, held the longest kick in Super bowl history. And so you know what? I'm going to keep the bias going. I hear the laughter in the back, but Jake Moody is my kicker and there's nothing you could do about it. High powered offense. Moody's got a leg on him. He had rookie jitters, a little bit sometimes, but Moody's got a leg on him. Jake Moody, you're my kicker. Come on. [00:36:34] Speaker A: So we're picking back to back for you. I can just brief you guys in advance. A bronco will not be coming off. [00:36:40] Speaker B: The next pick is Russell Wilson, backup quarterback. [00:36:43] Speaker A: Check that ceiling. Think about it. [00:36:47] Speaker C: Am I on the clock again? [00:36:50] Speaker A: I think it's Zach. [00:36:51] Speaker C: No. Jamie just had two guys. It's me. Dude's just trying to not get me on the clock. I see how it is. [00:36:57] Speaker A: I'm back up, aren't I? [00:37:00] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, it is you and then me trying to get me. [00:37:03] Speaker A: Actually, I was trying to get myself off the clock, I guess. Yeah. I clearly lost track of the draft location, so I wasn't fully looking. But it shouldn't be too hard to find somebody here who I think will be fantastic again this season. Oh, yeah. There he is. His name's Michael Pittman Jr. Wow. [00:37:24] Speaker C: I like it. [00:37:26] Speaker A: Jake mentioned earlier Anthony Richardson will be back next season. I was extremely impressed by him this season when he was the starter for the first couple weeks. Obviously went down with an injury, but that's a special talent that they have in Indianapolis, and I'm hoping that Shane Steichen won't waste this quarterback the way that they've wasted previous quarterback talent. Shout out Andrew luck and Peyton Manning, who they cut before. He threw for 60 touchdowns, although he did win a Super bowl there, so I'll give him that one. But yeah. Michael Pittman Jr. Easily the wide receiver one in Indianapolis. I don't expect them to pick a wide receiver that would be any better than he is right now. The tight end situation. We can talk about Mo Ali Cox all day, but I don't think we could. Not the greatest scene, receiving and pass catcher wise in Indianapolis right now, Michael Pittman Jr. Stands a tier above everybody else out there. Josh Downs obviously is good, but he's not Michael Pittman Jr. And I think he's going to be the top target on that offense and I would expect it to be a good one with Shane Stichen. So Michael Pittman Jr. Is going to fill out my final bench spot. [00:38:33] Speaker C: I'm going to go along with what Lincoln did here. I'm going to take my second bench guy. I need a running back because I only got two. I already have three receivers because I took Devontae Smith as one of my receivers. Actually, no, I have four receivers because Diggs is in my flex. Oh, do I need another flex spot? [00:38:47] Speaker A: Is it two flex? [00:38:49] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:38:49] Speaker C: Okay, so I guess Devontae Smith is just my second flex guy, so I need a second bench guy. [00:38:56] Speaker A: Congratulations, you've been promoted. [00:38:58] Speaker C: Wait, hold on. Does that mean I need one of my elite employees? We got three more rounds left for three more picks. All right, well, anyway, I'm going to take my first bench guy, I guess, because Devante Smith's going to move up to my flex and I need a third running back pretty bad. There's a group of guys here that are all kind of together. Like, I'm looking at James Cook, Kamara Walker Stevenson, all these guys. Wow. Pollard's pretty low on this projection list, but I'm going to take the guy that I hope will return to what happened last year. Not this year, because he had a couple of good weeks this year. Just had a beat up offense. His offensive line is just not good. It never has been. Really? They had Aiden O'Donnell as their quarterback for a while. So I'm going to go Josh Jacobs. I truly think that he isn't aged enough where he's going to start falling off for good. I mean, he was literally rb one last year in fantasy, so if he could possibly go to a new team. Know, I don't remember exactly what his contract looks like at the moment. Did he get franchise tagged? [00:40:00] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:40:02] Speaker C: So maybe he can leave Vegas. I don't know. But if he does, I just think Josh Jacobs can still be an elite running back in this league, one of the best in the AFC. So he's going to be my first bench guy. [00:40:11] Speaker D: All right, since I got one bench roll, my kicker, I'm just going to fling one out there for my bench roll. Devontae Adams. I mean, why not, man? Why not come to the squad for my kicker? I had one guy do good for me last year, and that was young Kyoku for the Atlanta Falcons. So got to pick him up. He did really good for me last year. And with the Devontae Adams pick, I mean, it's Devontae Adams. Who knows? Who knows what will happen next year? So why not? Why not let it fly, man? [00:40:40] Speaker B: He's a jet. [00:40:41] Speaker D: He a jet? [00:40:43] Speaker B: That'd be crazy. Him and Garrett Wilson and Bruce hall. [00:40:48] Speaker A: If we move fast, maybe we'll throw one last round in here. [00:40:51] Speaker B: Yeah, we could throw another bench spot in. [00:40:52] Speaker A: Everyone picks their favorite sleeper. [00:40:55] Speaker B: Okay, yeah, we'll do our last picks and then our favorite sleeper. I like it. [00:40:58] Speaker C: Well, I still need another bench kind of defense. [00:41:01] Speaker A: Well, yeah, I got to finish on my kicker still. [00:41:03] Speaker B: I only have a quarterback left. [00:41:05] Speaker D: Yeah, and I'm done. [00:41:07] Speaker B: Jake, where are you? [00:41:09] Speaker C: That's a great question. [00:41:11] Speaker A: Who was your kicker? [00:41:13] Speaker C: Young. Who? Cook. I have two picks. You see, you just need one more guy left. [00:41:17] Speaker B: Yeah. Did we skip you or something? [00:41:22] Speaker D: We did. Lose order like later. [00:41:24] Speaker A: No. [00:41:24] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:41:25] Speaker A: No, because he just picked twice after me. You were up. So Devante, Adams and COO are still on the board, technically, if you want them. [00:41:34] Speaker C: I'm good. I'm good. I don't want those guys. [00:41:36] Speaker B: He wants David and Joku. [00:41:37] Speaker C: Am I up? [00:41:38] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:41:38] Speaker A: Yeah, you are. [00:41:39] Speaker C: Pick. Okay, well, I'm gonna go with. I like the rookie train that you two are going on, and I'm gonna take the rookie running back that I think is going to be the best in this draft. No, it's not. The running back out of Texas. I'm going to go with Trey Benson. [00:41:52] Speaker B: Out of Florida State. Okay. [00:41:54] Speaker A: That guy is good. [00:41:58] Speaker C: I have a little bit of respect for Florida State, kind of. I mean, I didn't mind them until the whole college football playoff thing with Alabama and that kind of, I was like, all right, get over it. But I will admit, Trey Benson is an absolute dog. He is just such a complete and polished running back. I don't know where he's going to go in this draft. I really don't. But wherever he does, they're going to get a workhorse rb one and I think he could be huge in fantasy football. So he's going to be my second bench guy. [00:42:30] Speaker A: Jake, you're up again because he take his two awesome two picks after I like it. [00:42:35] Speaker C: I get my defense. Can I just keep picking? What defense do I want? I guess I'm going to go with the San Francisco 49 ers defense. I mean, they're still on the board. [00:42:46] Speaker B: That's an awesome pick. [00:42:47] Speaker C: They're projected to be second. I don't see them. Really. Jamie said earlier that they don't really have any guys that are on free agency. [00:42:55] Speaker B: Yeah, outside of Chase Young, there's not really any big name free hoping. [00:42:58] Speaker C: I mean, Boso looked played one of his best games last night in the Super bowl. He's going to do great next year, as usual. I mean, they still have Fred Warner. I think green law is going to come back with some vengeance a little bit. I think he'll still be good. So, I mean, why not take the 49 ers defense and they play in that mid division. So I'll take him. [00:43:18] Speaker B: Real talk. [00:43:20] Speaker A: Is it me again? [00:43:21] Speaker B: Yeah, it's you. [00:43:22] Speaker A: So this would be my. I got to get a kicker. [00:43:25] Speaker C: You and then Jimmy. [00:43:26] Speaker A: We'll make this one quick. I'm just gonna take Brandon Aubrey in Dallas. He was kicker one this year. [00:43:30] Speaker B: I'll just take an easy pick. [00:43:32] Speaker A: Maybe he should be good again next year. The Cowboys offense should be good, so Brandon Aubrey. [00:43:36] Speaker B: All right, well, I'm just left with the quarterback just like last time. I waited all the way through to take a quarterback just to pick Brock Purdy. There's a lot of great qbs here. I mean, Jalen hurts, Patrick Mahomes, Dakota rain Prescott. [00:43:53] Speaker A: Are we actually going to let Pat Mahomes go undrafted? [00:43:55] Speaker B: I'm not taking Pat Mahomes. He hurt my feelings last night and I want nothing to do with him. You got barbecue back there. I've been playing this game risky so far. I've been playing the risky game. I've taken Brock Bowers. I've taken Marvin Harrison. My draft is based Jaden Daniels purely potential. I'm not going on the rookie train this time. I'm going to go with somebody who was a beast this year, but injuries derailed it. I'm going to go Anthony Richardson of the Indianapolis Colts. He had a phenomenal start to his season. I mean, he looked like he was the rookie of the year before CJ Stroud. Richardson was doing it all on the ground, through the air. Michael Pittman was feasting. Josh Downs was feasting. Anthony Richardson was feeding them the ball. So it's been great coaching all year long for the Colts. Gardner Minshew ended up being a pro Bowler. So I think with that coaching and Anthony Richardson's potential and how he played last season, I think Anthony Richardson has potential to be a top five quarterback. He has all the potential in the world, and this is a potential based team for me. So I'm going to take Anthony Richardson as my QB one. I love playing this game risky. It's a lot of fun. So are we doing sleepers now? You get to start it off, man. I guess I'll start it off. I'm not sure who to go here. There's a few guys that are kind of on my. Hmm. I'm gonna go with shoot, what's his name? Romeo Dobbs of the Green Bay packers. I'm gonna go Romeo Dobbs. Jordan Love completely just showed us who he really is throughout the playoffs, dominated Dallas Cowboys and really put on a showing against the 49 ers. His last five games of his regular season were phenomenal, and Romeo Dobbs throughout that entire stretch was incredible. He dominated San Francisco, he dominated Dallas and all those games he was great. So I think Romeo Dobbs this season with a great and improved Jordan Love. It's going to be lethal. So, yeah, that's my sleeper right there. Romeo Dobbs. [00:46:04] Speaker A: All right. My sleeper. I'm going to go to the running back position. It's a guy that I was super high on coming into this season. This was his rookie year. It's a running back out of Texas. It was Bijon's backup. It's Roshan Johnson. He plays in Chicago. He was backing up Khalil Herbert for the large majority this season. I think he's a better running back than Khalil Herbert. Than Khalil Herbert. And that's no disrespect to him, but Roshan Johnson is extremely talented and would have been a superstar at Texas had he not been backing up the greatest running back prospect I've ever evaluated. Roshan Johnson is a star in the making and I expect the Bears with a new offense and a young quarterback, whether it's still Justin Fields or whether it's Caleb Williams with a young quarterback in there, they're going to have to lean on the run. I think a new offensive coordinator will do them a lot of good and obviously I think they got one. I'm not 100% sure who it is, but I think they're going to go to the young core and Roshan Johnson is going to be a part of that. I think he will be an RB sleeper next year. If you're looking at a zero RB team, he could be somebody to take a peek at in the later rounds. [00:47:07] Speaker C: I like it. I'm going to go with another running back for a sleeper pick. I don't know really what his draft status is going to be next year or even if he's going to be the RV one on this team next year. It just so happens to be the running back on one of my favorite teams or my favorite team. I'm going to Keaton Mitchell. [00:47:24] Speaker B: Nice. [00:47:25] Speaker C: When he was healthy this year, which was sadly only for a couple of weeks, I really wish we had him for our playoff run. He was just stellar. Like undrafted rookie out of ECU 1800 yard scrimmage yards in college and then came into the NFL and every time he got the ball he made a great play regardless of what the situation was, made a great football move. He shoots the hole like he's a cannonball out of a cannon. I mean, I don't know what else to say about him except for he's really just like an electric player and the Ravens seem to be finding a lot of those players on the offensive side. Of the ball, which can be very scary next year. So I really want him to be our RB one next year. As a Ravens fan, I know I might get a little bit of hate of that, but Keaton Mitchell, if he gets the workhorse workload as a workhorse, he could be a good RB pickup. [00:48:17] Speaker D: Yeah, I like the style that Jamie was going with the Romeo Dobbs Jordan Love connection. I think I got to go Jordan Love. I was trying to find someone else, but I really been thinking about Jordan Love in that playoff series. I think he put on a show and I think it just shows what the packers and the Green Bay packers can do in the future. I think Jordan Love is definitely a quarterback for the future and I definitely think he has the potential to be great in the NFL. So yeah, especially being under Aaron Rodgers and what they did back in the day, I think Jordan Love is just going to continue to yeah, that's my sleeper. [00:48:51] Speaker B: No truer words have ever been spoken. Before we go, let's each go and read off our teams in the order we went. So I was the first pick. My team is Anthony Richardson, Christian McCaffrey, Bryse hall, amen Ross St. Brown, Marvin Harrison Jr. Puka Nakua, DJ Moore, Brock Bowers, Jake Moody Baltimore Ravens defense, my bench was Rashad White and Brandon iuke and my sleeper is Romeo Dobbs. [00:49:19] Speaker A: I had a quarterback. I've got Josh Allen. My running backs in the starting lineup are Bijon Robinson and Jamir Gibbs. My wide receivers one and two are Justin Jefferson and AJ Brown. I got Trey McBride in the tight end slot. My top flexes were Garrett Wilson and Devon a chain. My backup flexes were Romeo Duns and Roma Dunze. I just cannot pronounce this guy's name. Roma Dunze and Michael Pittman Jr. And then my defense and kicker were the Dallas Cowboys and Brandon Aubrey from the same team. And the sleeper was Roshan Johnson. [00:49:52] Speaker C: I love it. All right, at the QB I got new era, eight, Lamar Jackson running backs. I got Karen Williams and Jonathan Taylor. Five receivers. I got the cheetah, Tyreek Hill and Jamar Chase tight end. I got Sam Laporta flex. I got Diggs and Devontae Smith. Defense, I got the Niners kicker, I got the goat, Justin Tucker. Two bench guys I got are Josh Jacobs and Trey Benson. And then my sleeper pick is Keaton Mitchell. [00:50:16] Speaker D: All right, at my QB, I got the man, CJ Stroud, Marbie one, Sequoia RB two, Travis ETN wide receiver, one going to be CD Lamb got wide receiver two, Mike Evans and then with my tight end, I got Travis Kelsey, two flexes, got Nico Collins, Keenan Allen, kicker, young ho Ku from the Atlanta Falcons. And then for my bench spot, I got Isaiah Pacheco, then Devante Adams. And then for my sleeper, Jordan love for the Green Bay packers, baby. [00:50:43] Speaker B: Man, what a draft.
