[00:00:00] Speaker A: Wvuafm Tuscaloosa. Hey, everybody. Thank you so much for listening to 90.7 the Capstone. My name is Tanner Thompson. I am here with Evan Cisneros, Connor Rolls, and Alex Brown, and we are the student section NFL. Fellas, before we get into it, I just got to know, how's everyone doing today? [00:00:24] Speaker B: We got a win. The dope. [00:00:26] Speaker A: The Miami Dolphins did get a win. [00:00:28] Speaker B: The only time. [00:00:29] Speaker A: Florida of the. You, unfortunately. [00:00:32] Speaker B: Oh, well, I'll take it. We were the only team in Florida. [00:00:35] Speaker C: I would know. Definitely not. [00:00:36] Speaker A: Would not. [00:00:37] Speaker C: I will say, though, congratulations, everybody on the show. Yeah, I think this might be the, like, the first. [00:00:42] Speaker D: First week. I think it is. [00:00:43] Speaker B: We went 18 for 20. [00:00:45] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:00:48] Speaker C: I was just talking about, like, our teams in general. Oh, yeah, we all won. We all won first time. I think this season, my team was. [00:00:54] Speaker A: The one that was usually holding everyone back. [00:00:56] Speaker C: Well, also, his without two of. [00:00:58] Speaker B: Is that both of our third wins? [00:01:01] Speaker A: Second. [00:01:02] Speaker B: Okay. [00:01:03] Speaker A: For me. No, it's your third because we had. Oh, because our first win, Andy, against the Raiders earlier. Yes, it is. [00:01:10] Speaker C: Our three wins, too. [00:01:11] Speaker B: We got three wins. [00:01:12] Speaker A: Our teams are. [00:01:13] Speaker B: Playoff push. [00:01:14] Speaker C: Come in and you're saying playoff push, and you have three wins right now. [00:01:17] Speaker B: Three and six. We're there. [00:01:18] Speaker A: That's unbelievable, man. [00:01:19] Speaker B: We're one game back from the AFC playoff race, which I think we'll touch on a little bit later, probably. [00:01:24] Speaker A: Yeah, but. But, yeah, I mean, going off that, man, it was a. It was a good week for all of our teams. Yeah, I. I guess we should get into some kind of newsworthy stuff just outside of our teams before we actually really get into it. Evan? Sure. You want to talk about Brian Flores? [00:01:40] Speaker B: I was just on ESPN and I got a headline talking about Brian Flores saying he would love to be an NFL head coach again, which I think he's got the skills. I think he was in the running for coach of the year his first two years, and then it kind of fell off when they went 07 and then seven. Zero. [00:01:59] Speaker A: How do you. How do you value all the stuff that we heard about his relationship with Tuathagvaloa? [00:02:05] Speaker B: I personally never want him around the Dolphins again. I never want him around the Dolphins offensive. [00:02:09] Speaker A: How do you think that changes the outlook for other teams who are looking for a head coach? [00:02:12] Speaker B: I think. I think he showed a lot of growth over the summer whenever the discourse was getting brought back up again. Because before it was kind of a cold response like, I don't care. That's in the past. [00:02:25] Speaker C: I. [00:02:25] Speaker B: He didn't do what I wanted him to and he was just really off putting about it. But I think when Tua kind of called him out and he didn't initially take all the accountability, but he was very reflective in his response, I think. And I think if he goes to a team that understands he's a defensive minded head coach and, and gets him someone who will work with the offense and kind of mentor the quarterback, if it's a young quarterback, yeah, I think it could be a good situation because a lot of the Dolphins loved him, especially on the defensive side. [00:02:58] Speaker A: That actually kind of reminds me of a conversation, I guess, with him being a defensive coach. I feel like there's a lot of dialogue around when you're going for head coaches. Whether you want the offensive guru or you know, the guy like a Brian Flores or I should like Vic Vangio, not Vic Fangio, but like. Well, I mean the guy like he. [00:03:19] Speaker C: Was around like that kind of thing kind of now it's not really like. [00:03:22] Speaker A: Now he's definitely a defensive coordinator, but now the big thing is like blitz capable coaches, like again, Brian Flores, like Todd Bowles is a good example of a blitz capable head coach. But as where you guys stand in the conversation of offensive guru head coach versus I guess stalwart defensive coordinator head. [00:03:42] Speaker B: Coach, I think there's another point to be brought up. Not to discredit yours, but like I think there's a kind of Belichick to McDaniel difference, not coaching tree, but you know, on Madden where you can choose what kind of coach you have this, you know, fundamentalist. The player coach. [00:04:02] Speaker C: Oh yeah. [00:04:03] Speaker B: I think you kind of really have to decide. Do you want the guru, the guy who's going to drop the plays and maybe won't be so personable? Do you want the players coach who's going to lift everyone up? And I mean, I would say Belichick. [00:04:16] Speaker A: Is both of those things. [00:04:17] Speaker B: You think Belichick's a player's coach? [00:04:18] Speaker D: I don't know if Belichick's a player's coach. [00:04:20] Speaker A: I was going to say Belichick. I guess players coach also means leader of men. I guess I would say. Okay, that was absolutely what he was. Right. But Mike McDaniel, I think. Are you saying he's. [00:04:29] Speaker B: I think I'm saying that a little wrong. Brian Flores was definitely a player's coach in that he got people fired up to win games. [00:04:36] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:04:36] Speaker B: But he was kind of also alienating where he had that Belichick do your job or I don't want you around here kind of thing. Whereas there's other coaches in the league that are a little more forgiving and want to make it more of a family, which I mean we've seen the colder coaches kind of have a better track record. I would say Andy, Andy Reid's more of that players kind of coach where he's. [00:04:58] Speaker A: He's perfectly in the middle of that. He's a players coach, but he's also so reserved and doesn't like he'll let stuff slide when he needs to, but. [00:05:05] Speaker B: Right. [00:05:06] Speaker A: And I see what you're saying, but I don't, I don't want to like overcomplicate the concept that I'm going for here because like with the way the game changes, it change, you know, it seems like it changes significantly on offense and then significantly on defense every year. What would you guys rather have as a head coach? [00:05:22] Speaker C: I would probably say an offensive minded head coach just because I feel like the game offensively changes so much throughout the different, like just different years. I know the past few years it's been a really pass heavy offense. You want like to make the Kyle Shanahan trees and well now Mike McDaniel like all those kind of guys who can I guess, scheme, you know, get your star wide receiver open. [00:05:48] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:05:49] Speaker C: And then, you know, now it's a running back league. So a running league the way this season's going out. But I would say that just because I feel like there are more, I guess coordinators that would just be fine with getting the defensive role instead of, you know, you look around across the league. I'm trying to phrase it like this, but you see guys like Ben Johnson. [00:06:09] Speaker A: Who great offensive mind, offensive savant almost. [00:06:13] Speaker C: And you already know he's going to be looking for a new head coaching job. [00:06:17] Speaker A: Absolutely. [00:06:17] Speaker C: And you get guys who are the more defensive side of the ball and they've kind of. I want to not phased out of the league, but the league is going more of the offensive side and the defensive side is. You're kind of happy with a Vic Bangio or the chief's defensive coordinator. I'm blanking on his name. Spagnola. Those guys who can stay across the league and be defensive coordinator and be happy with it. I feel like that's more. [00:06:41] Speaker A: Yeah. Spag is a rare case of a guy that knows he's maybe not interested in being a head coach and is committed to just creating a elite defense. Because Spagnolo has had his chance before with the Rams. I want to say. Yeah, years ago. I will say going off your point with like the league changing. I think we've seen offense change, like predominantly over the past few years. Right now, I think we are in the midst of a. Of defense changing, of just the like defenses that come out in the strangest look you've ever seen. They start with one high safety and then they rotate to two and then end up back in one. And that safety blitz is off the edge and they're in match coverage and all these bullets, blitzes and stunts and all of these things. I think because of how. I don't. Predestined isn't the right word, but how planned offensive play is now of just like how scheduled and choreographed those plays are. It's not exactly like west coast where you drop back and you find where the weakness is in the defense. Now it's things that are just rehearsed and you know, where you should go with the ball almost every time. I think there's such an advantage to an unpredictable defense. That's going to change that up a lot. Yeah, but. And for me, personally, I would probably lean offense still because I think it's probably more important to maintain an offensive identity. I think you can maybe still make a good defense out of a consistent personnel. But, Alex, what do you think I want to hear? [00:08:08] Speaker D: I think that's an excellent point you just made, Tanner. It comes down to, I think we're at a point where we're shifting towards a realignment in terms of what's most important in a head coach. And I think we're going towards more of a motivating side of things. Yeah. Two great coordinators, one great motivator that ties everything together. Now, Dan Campbell, I think of him. I think of Harbaugh, too. Jim Harbaugh. These are two guys that come from offensive backgrounds, but you wouldn't necessarily say they're an offensive coach. Yeah, they really are motivators. [00:08:43] Speaker A: They have such a balanced team. [00:08:44] Speaker D: Exactly. They have a great balance to them. But look at both those team. They both have experienced coordinators at the offensive side. You got Ben Johnson in Detroit. And then you have Greg Roman, who is the offensive coordinator for the Chargers. But they also got great defensive coordinators, too. You got Aaron Glenn. [00:09:04] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:09:05] Speaker D: Up in Detroit. And then you have Jesse Minter coming from Michigan. And the Chargers right now have the fourth best defense in terms of points allowed through nine games in the last 40 years. [00:09:16] Speaker A: They showed out against those lines, man. [00:09:17] Speaker D: I think it's striking, that right combination. But if you look at the two teams that have fired coaches so far this season, Robert Sala Dennis Allen, both defensive coaches. I think you're looking for someone that's more in the middle of that. If I was starting a team today, I'd want an offensive mind to coach. [00:09:34] Speaker A: Absolutely. I think I would agree with that. Excuse me. With that again, we. Have we gone over the Waldron firing already? [00:09:43] Speaker C: We haven't. [00:09:44] Speaker A: How do we. I guess probably won't take long. I think we're all. [00:09:47] Speaker D: It's about time. [00:09:48] Speaker A: Yeah, I think it's about time about this should have happened already. [00:09:51] Speaker C: It should have happened already and I think it's going to be like a clean house kind of thing. In the off season. [00:09:56] Speaker A: Do you think we see significant improvement from the team without wandering, without weeks? [00:10:01] Speaker C: Yes, yes I do. I mean we've seen how Jackson, Smith and Jigba talked about Shane Waldron. I do remember in the off season and I think there will be significant, I guess increase in production with just the whole offense in general. But I think no matter what, Matt Everfluse, what a joke needs to go like it's. It's honestly disgusting how he's still coaching a team right now. [00:10:28] Speaker A: Yeah. I hope it doesn't become like a scapegoat situation where they fire like a lot of the staff, like a lot of the coordinators and things like that and he is left and they just trust him for some reason because I think it's pretty easy to tell that it's just fundamental to the system that they have in Chicago right now. But yeah, that felt pretty deserved A slightly more positive note that I am so excited to get to is that Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers have won consecutive games. Bryce Young, I want to make this known. Bryce Young has not won consecutive games since his final championship in college. He has not won consecutive football games since, but he has now. He has officially won two consecutive games. And honestly in pretty good fashion. [00:11:15] Speaker C: He looks confident. [00:11:17] Speaker B: These are the first time since 2022. December 2022. [00:11:20] Speaker A: December 2022. That was probably. Was that the bowl game against Kansas State or was that the. [00:11:26] Speaker B: Oh, I'm talking about the Panthers. [00:11:27] Speaker A: Oh, fair enough. Probably that probably alliance pretty closely. But. But yeah, man, I. He looks comfortable. He especially last Sunday made throws that really won us the game. Like when we had to have a play on long third downs. He was hitting throws at over at the out of bounds and on on the money and windows that are incredibly tight. I. I really liked what I saw from Bryce last Sunday and again it's just good to see two wins in a row, man. It really is. [00:11:58] Speaker C: But I. Yeah. I would also like to say it was nice just not, not only seeing him like him be confident and happy and I mean, you know, you saw that with the throws that he made and I guess the progressions he went through, but also just stepping up in the pocket and using his legs more, which I feel like we haven't really seen. [00:12:14] Speaker A: He looked pretty quick, man. [00:12:15] Speaker C: He did. [00:12:16] Speaker A: When he came up on that one play where he came up out of the middle of the pocket and ran towards the left sideline. Yeah, I swear he looked really fast. [00:12:24] Speaker C: We never really saw that. Usually it's he steps back and he never really steps up in the pocket after the snap because it was a. [00:12:30] Speaker A: Death sent for him for a year. [00:12:32] Speaker C: It would, it would really just be. He steps back and if he can't find anything, he gets. Not flustered, but he just gets rushed and he just throws it. [00:12:39] Speaker A: Our interior line has improved significantly and I think that's probably been the difference in what makes him confident enough to step up and, you know, give himself that extra second. But, but yeah, man, I won't go into it too deep because it's still a three win team. But yeah, man, it's, it's really exciting to see. Bryce Young. [00:12:57] Speaker C: How many did they have last year? [00:12:59] Speaker A: Four in total. Four, I think. Yeah. And that was enough for the first pick. But. And we didn't have it last year. We'll have our pick this year if all goes well. I should probably knock on wood. But yeah. A couple, couple more things before we go to break the Chiefs, man. Stand defeated off of a wild voodoo field. [00:13:19] Speaker C: Voodoo magic, that's all. It reminds me of the Eagles last year, how they look like they're the better team usually, but no matter. They will always find a win through these first few games. [00:13:32] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:13:33] Speaker C: And I mean they should have at least one or two losses so far this year. There's always been a, like a penalty that saved them, a play that saved them, a blocked field goal that saves them. I think their time for their, for their first loss is coming and I don't know, I don't think they will have this down, downward spiral the Eagles did last year because I think they are just a better team in their locker rooms just like, you know, it's a lot, I guess, closer together, but I think there could be like a stretch where they look not like not themselves or how they've looked in the past. And I think they will find themselves struggling maybe walking into the playoffs. [00:14:11] Speaker D: So I think they're heating up actually, especially with Travis Kelsey, Travis Kelce. Through the last three games, 32 receptions. We talked about earlier in the season, how he's been, how he really hasn't been himself, but in the last three weeks, he has the second most receptions for a tight end ever. [00:14:28] Speaker A: Oh, my gosh. [00:14:29] Speaker D: He's really at a good spot going into this game against the Bills this weekend. That's huge. That really is a big game, especially for it to be in Buffalo. Buffalo needs a statement. Win like that. [00:14:41] Speaker A: Absolutely. [00:14:41] Speaker D: And we'll see. We'll see what happens. But it's going to be a big game for the Bills, More. Much more so than the Chiefs. [00:14:48] Speaker A: I'm kind of in your camp. I think if anything changes. I see. I think it's much more likely that the offense progresses than the defense regresses. I think that's. And obviously that's what they need for the sake of the rest of this year. And this team is just good at winning games, if nothing else. But yeah, this. [00:15:07] Speaker B: I just checked this. They have 711 score wins this season, which I'm not sure. I try to look up their previous seasons. Yeah, that's a lot for the Chiefs. I feel like normally they kind of put their foot on someone's throat and just. It's not usually a game. [00:15:22] Speaker A: Maybe a little bit. I think it really comes down to that team's good at winning games. [00:15:24] Speaker B: Man, they pull it off. [00:15:26] Speaker A: They're such good closers. [00:15:27] Speaker C: I agree. But I feel I saw something where it was like their past nine games or whatever, nine of them have been comeback wins. [00:15:33] Speaker A: Wow. [00:15:34] Speaker C: And I mean, like the Eagles last year, they were a good team, but at the same time, you can't keep putting yourself in this hole and thinking you're going to just keep getting out of it. [00:15:43] Speaker B: Because we saw. [00:15:44] Speaker C: We've seen it happen multiple times. [00:15:46] Speaker B: Miami against Georgia Tech kept on getting themselves in holes and it caught up. You play with fire, you get burnt. [00:15:52] Speaker C: That's why I think. I think they will end up dropping one because, I mean, if it's been the same thing each and every week and they're going to. Something's not going to go their way one time. [00:16:01] Speaker B: Do they drop this one against the Bills? [00:16:04] Speaker C: I. We'll get into that later. [00:16:06] Speaker D: We'll talk about it later. Absolutely. I like that. I like that little suspense. [00:16:09] Speaker A: That'll be a good topic. Well, we'll come back in just a little bit and we'll talk about our picks for next week and we're going to get a little bit more in depth with our picks this week and kind of take our time with our choices specifically. But yeah, we'll be back in a few minutes. This show is a Sports production of WVUAFM 90.7 the Capstone, a division of. [00:16:42] Speaker B: Student media at the University of Alabama. [00:16:44] Speaker A: Support us by leaving a review rating or following us on X at WVUAFMSports. [00:16:50] Speaker B: Hey everybody, thank you much for listening. [00:16:59] Speaker A: To 90.7 the Capstone. We are back. I am gonna. Excuse me, not I. We're a team. We are gonna continue our talk about next week specifically. We're gonna do all of our game picks that we normally do, but we're gonna give ourselves to talk about these five games and get a little bit more in depth and actually, you know, justify why we are making our pick. And with that, I guess I'm gonna have to hesitantly give Carnival the floor to start with Eagles Commanders. [00:17:30] Speaker C: So yes. So yes, start off with this is going to be a tough game no matter what because it's, you know, a short week. Thursday Night Football Commanders are coming off of a tough loss against the Steelers and there's been some debate that that Zach Ertz catch should have been a first down. And I'm on the side. It should have because just looking at it, I, I thought the ball, you know, broke the plane of the first down marker. But no matter what, the Steelers played a great game. Commanders played a good game. I also think it's going to be tough for the Eagles, but I think it'll be better for the Eagles just because we didn't have to play all of our starters throughout the fourth quarter. You know, Commanders had a, you know, a grueling game that, you know, came down to the last few seconds of the game. So I think in that case it's going to go the Eagles have the edge. But just to go more in depth since the bye week, the Eagles have arguably the best defense in the league in the past two games. I want to say they have 10 takeaways. [00:18:27] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:18:28] Speaker C: And I you can say all you want because I agree that the competition hasn't really been up to par. But you also take a look what they did to that Bengals team who everyone has been saying they're a sneaky team. You know. Yeah, their offense has looked good as of I guess so far this season besides maybe the Patriots game. But they held them to 17 points. It was a really good game defensively. The offense since the bye week has also been top notch, just, you know, changing the way they play the offense. Not as much shotgun. There's a Ton more play action. Ton more. I mean rollout within a single back. [00:19:05] Speaker A: So kind of getting back to that stiking stuff you used to run. [00:19:08] Speaker C: Yeah, no years ago it was. They're finally getting back into it and Jalen hurts for the first time so far this season. Looks healthy. I know. I'm pretty sure this past week he had a run. It was I want to say like 20 something yards and that was the longest run since I think was that. [00:19:25] Speaker A: The year just there was like man, they just cleared out and he had the open space. [00:19:30] Speaker C: So I think that was a true sign and to make my pick I really do think the Eagles are going to pull this one out. I think Zachary is coming home and it's going to be weird to see Zachary in a commander's uniform in the link but I do think the Eagles are going to pull this one out. I think the rookie tandem with Quinon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean have just been shutting out receivers. I know. I don't think a receiver has over has had over 50 yards against Quinion Mitchell so far this season including guys like Jamar Chase, CD Lamb and Malik Neighbors. So I think it's going to be a tough game for Jaden Daniels. I think he will and can beat us on the ground. Jaden Daniels running the ball. But other than that I think it'll be a close game and give me the Eagles. [00:20:11] Speaker A: Yeah, I think what a lot of. Sorry, I just asked you what you're thinking. Continue. [00:20:16] Speaker B: I think what a lot of people have been saying about the Commanders not really playing any teams has kind of shown any team they have played that's been a good team. They lost early to the Bucs who were very healthy and very good at the time. Then they lost a close game to the Ravens and a close game to the Steelers. I think they have that fight in them. I don't know if they have it all the way to where they can contend and be a top level team right now. I think it's going to be a close game. I think it'll probably come down to the fourth quarter like how it has been. Yeah, I don't really see them all the way pulling this one out. I think the Eagles win by at least. At least three. [00:20:54] Speaker A: Yeah. Alex, what are you thinking about this game? [00:20:56] Speaker D: I have a newfound respect for the Commanders. I thought they held their own against the Steelers pretty well. They have a good offense obviously Daniels there but I think Hertz Connor alluded to his rushing abilities here as of late. He now has 10 rushing touchdowns this season. That's the fourth season in a row he's had 10 rushing touchdowns. Makes him the first quarterback ever to say that. [00:21:16] Speaker A: Wow. [00:21:16] Speaker D: And so I feel like he has a lot more confidence than he's had, especially last season. So I feel like the Eagles are in a really good spot. Nick Sirianni, he's out of the news a little bit. It seems like the drama is melting away and I think that happens when you win. [00:21:34] Speaker A: Absolutely. Yeah. [00:21:35] Speaker D: I think that they're going to keep on winning against the Commanders, but I do think the Commanders are a good team. They're. They're just a young team. I think that that neutral zone infraction that they had at the end of the game that gave the Steelers the victory is indicative of that. That was a rookie that did that on the defensive line. So they're not there yet. [00:21:53] Speaker A: Who was that? A John. Well, I'm not sure we're talking about the same player. We said it two different names. [00:22:00] Speaker C: But I'm not sure to be honest. [00:22:02] Speaker A: He is. He's a rookie defensive tackle that they took. But yeah, someone looked that up. While I. I'll go ahead and talk about how I'm thinking about this game. I think matchup wise it's super interesting. I think the Eagles still kind of have a young secondary and just general second level to their defense and a lot of those guys have really stepped up and pass coverage which could help a lot this game. It was Johnny Newton. [00:22:24] Speaker C: It was. [00:22:25] Speaker A: Wow. I do love Johnny Newton. That's a shame that it was him. [00:22:28] Speaker B: I wanted him to get. I wanted the Dolphins. [00:22:30] Speaker A: But. But yeah, I think you have the young second level of the defense for the Eagles going up against a very well designed offense from the Commanders being led by Kingsbury. Cliff Kingsbury. Yes. And I think I don't because of the availability that they have offensively. Just because they can go so many different directions out of so many looks that could be an issue that they really manipulate the second level of that defense. Well, but that being said, having a guy that like Quinon Mitchell who has been as good as he has one on one against really talented receivers will help. I'm a huge fan of Terry McLaurin and Lord knows that go ball is dangerous from Jaden Daniels and again, like you were saying, the other side you have. You also have a young offense. There are, excuse me, just a generally young team with the Commanders and it's going to come down to execution like most games do. It's a pretty easy take to have. But. But yeah, I think it's going to come down to really good play calling from Cliff Kingsbury and to see if they can put that Eagles defense in a bind. That being said, I think I'm going to go with the Eagles hesitantly just because I think they're a little bit more built last in a. In a tough game. But yeah, I'm gonna have to. I'm gonna have to stick with that. Did we go. Did everybody give picks or did we just talk? [00:23:56] Speaker C: I think it was a clean sweep. [00:23:57] Speaker B: For Eagles to build on that though. I think I'll stand on the Eagles pick. I still think they'll win, but I think if the commanders do get this win, that'll definitely bolster them up. They'll be more confident going into their final stretch, which is absolutely. Let me check that real quick. [00:24:12] Speaker A: Connor, you tracking picks? [00:24:14] Speaker B: Wow. [00:24:15] Speaker D: Cliff Kingsbury do what? Can I make a point on Cliff Kingsbury? [00:24:18] Speaker A: Please do. [00:24:19] Speaker D: I think the Bears missing on Cliff Kingsbury is one of the worst. Is one of the worst things about the offseason. [00:24:27] Speaker A: Yep, absolutely. [00:24:28] Speaker D: That happened across any team. Cliff Kingsbury was Caleb Williams offensive coordinator at usc. [00:24:36] Speaker A: Yep. [00:24:37] Speaker D: How do you not pay him enough to bring him aboard? [00:24:41] Speaker A: I just don't get him in. [00:24:41] Speaker D: I don't get how you do that. And then now. So now Caleb Williams had Shane Waldron. Now he's going to have a new play caller the rest of the season. Probably a new one next season. That's crazy for that's not how you start, man. First and then second year NFL starter. [00:24:57] Speaker A: It'll be. That's what the problem has been with Bryce Young for a while is he's had different head coaches, different coordinators, entirely new systems that he has had to deal with. And that is how you ruin a young quarterback with placing him in a different situation every year. But that is a good point about Cliff Kingsbury though. The Bears absolutely should have gone for him. I guess we should let you take the floor to start this one. Alex. Give me your thoughts on Ravens Steelers. [00:25:22] Speaker D: I'll tell you what, I feel great about the Steelers. I really do. Seven and two, we're scoring 24 points a game. We're giving up 16. Our defense is firing on all cylinders. Our offense, it's been pretty good, especially with Russell Wilson lately. Russell Wilson now has seven touchdowns this season total touchdown. Six through the air. One of the ground. That's as many as Kenny Pickett had through 12 games last year. Through 12 games. So I feel great about the Steelers offense, especially their quarterback. That being said, we do not do well going into the month of December. So I feel a little bit worried about this game against the Ravens and then the Bengals. [00:26:03] Speaker A: Right. [00:26:03] Speaker D: However, I do think we are the best team in the division. I think we will win the division. Do I think we'll win this week? I'm not going to pick against it, but I'm a little bit concerned about the Ravens this week. But that to me is not indicative of us not being a contender. I think we are legitimate super bowl contenders. I love that throw that Wilson had to Mike Williams. That's what we've missing. That is what we've been missing. And that was a just a perfect encapsulation of exactly what the Steelers offense can be. [00:26:37] Speaker A: Absolutely. [00:26:37] Speaker D: It has been great. It will continue to be great and I think we will beat the Ravens this week. But I'm cautiously optimistic. I think we definitely see a scenario where we could lose. [00:26:49] Speaker A: I was always of the thought that when Russell Wilson was fully healthy, he should absolutely come in. Don't get me wrong, Justin Fields brought something to the offense, but what the offense needed to complement it was Russ's ability out of the pocket to hit the deep throws out of the run game, out of play action and all that. But I think I am also going to pick the Steelers here. I think, again, I just don't think that Ravens defense looks good enough, especially against the run. And I think not being able to defend the run and, excuse me, struggling against a defense like that, I think it's a bad recipe for a football game. I got to take the Steelers. [00:27:28] Speaker B: I think the Ravens are a team susceptible to getting punched in the mouth and kind of tucking their tail. Yeah, I think they do make a strong push towards the end of the game where they get right. But as you said, going against that Steelers defense that is on the ball and it's going to make that running game for the Ravens difficult. And Lamar Jackson's had a great year. 24 touchdowns to two interceptions. Yeah, I don't. I don't. I think the Steelers are one of those teams that kind of have long, grueling, kind of boring games in the past where it's not much scoring and it's kind of back and forth, turnover, turnover, turnover. I think the Ravens get in a hole early and just don't climb their way out of it 100%. [00:28:08] Speaker C: I'm actually going to go with the Ravens this week. I think the Steelers have looked like, I guess, super bowl contenders. I am still a little weary about that offense. I still don't think the offense is like as electric as it needs to be. I think their defense is really good and I know Highsmith is out. They just rolled him out for this week and I think that's a big loss for the Steelers. But I just think the Ravens have looks. Have looked susceptible where they can be caught like I guess on a bad week and lose the bad game. But they're also one of the teams where if they're clicking on all cylinders, they could look like they're the best team in football by a mile. And I think Derrick Henry has looked like a monster the weeks before this, but last few weeks he hasn't looked really as good. I think it's going to change. I think they're going to get him more involved. I think. I think the pass rush for the Steelers is like, you know, of course amazing with TJ Watt and all that, but I think they're. The back half can be also susceptible. I know Minka's, you know, up there. I know Joey Porter Jr. Has looked really good, but I still think Lamar Jackson just, you know, being able to spread the field with his legs can really give Steelers a lot of trouble at times. And I think they will still have a find a way to lock down and fix the holes on defense that they have shown. So I think it's going to be a close game for the Ravens and I'm honestly picking the Ravens because they're going to be with that, one of their best pass searchers in Highsmith. [00:29:35] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:29:35] Speaker D: Lamar Jackson against the Steelers 2 and 4 in his career. 870 yards, four touchdowns and seven interceptions. [00:29:42] Speaker A: Wow. [00:29:42] Speaker C: Geez. [00:29:43] Speaker D: We have done very well against this. [00:29:45] Speaker A: Also an especially good Steelers defense. On top of that, I will say I did not know that Alex Highsmith was out, but I am going to stick with my pick. I still think the logic is sound. [00:29:55] Speaker D: Again, I chose to focus on the positive aspect again. [00:29:59] Speaker A: Continuing on a really exciting future week of football. Let's move on to Bills, Chiefs. [00:30:07] Speaker C: Yeah, I'll start with that. I'm excited for this game just because I feel like every time they match up, it's always an exciting game no matter where it's at or what the implications are. But I'm going to be going with the Bills this time and I am hoping Amari Cooper plays this week. He's been out the last two weeks, but if Amari Cooper plays it, I'm definitely confident in the Bills pulling this one off. But I feel like the Chiefs have been in that realm with lesser opponents where they kind of just fall asleep for the entire three quarters of the game. And in that last quarter they find a way to sneak it out. And I think you cannot really do this against a Bill's defense which has been playing lights out so far this year and against the Bills offense with Josh Allen who's only thrown what, two interceptions. So I think it's going to be hard to get in that same kind of mindset that the Chiefs have had where the last nine games have been nine comebacks. And I don't know if you can go down against the Bills like that and like I guess fight to fight back to the top in the fourth quarter. And so because of that and I think, you know, just doing the comeback week in and week out, it's. It's very taxing on just the mental and the physical side of the body. So because of that I'm going with the Bills and it's in Buffalo by the way. So Bills it is in Buffalo. [00:31:22] Speaker A: That's. That's very significant. I. [00:31:24] Speaker C: It is. [00:31:25] Speaker A: I think the Bills have just kind of found their identity. It feels like. It kind of felt like they didn't know what their identity was on the offensive side of the ball for a while if like kind of took them a second to completely figure that out. But I like the way that they're playing right now. And isn't Matt Milano coming? I think they just activated his 21 day window. He's not. [00:31:44] Speaker C: I know. So I did see something about that but I. [00:31:46] Speaker B: Dirty, dirty player. [00:31:47] Speaker D: He's not eligible, I believe to come back yet. [00:31:49] Speaker A: Yeah, he's not eligible to come back. I think that, yeah, they activated his window. So he's obviously still gone. He's been gone for a long time. It's not really a super relevant miss at this point. But I think I love what I saw out of the Bills against the Colts. And don't get me wrong, Colts aren't a good team. But right now I think I'm going to have to roll with the Bills hesitantly. It just kind of feels like the Chiefs just know the Bills over all the games that we've seen them play together. But something feels different about this. I'm going to have to go Bills. [00:32:22] Speaker B: To bring up that point about the Chiefs knowing the Bills. I just looked it up. Josh Allen in his career 31 against the Chiefs in the regular season come playoff time. 03. I think this is one of those games where it's not the playoffs. It doesn't. Obviously every game means something. I think this one means a Little bit less to the Chiefs who already are comfortably in first place in the afc. I'd see the Bills taking this one. Especially as Connor said, the Chiefs have been kind of asleep a lot of this year. The Bills have been on all cylinders just going. So I think the Bills win this one maybe pretty handily, but handily's maybe handily. [00:33:03] Speaker D: This is tough because I buy at least a score. I love the Bills this week. I love the Bills. I don't want us to go all Bills. I feel a little bit worried about that. [00:33:13] Speaker A: We could go over four on this pick really easily. [00:33:16] Speaker D: The Chiefs are the Chiefs. They're not bad. They're not bad. It's going to be a tough game. I was going to go with the Bills. I'm going to pick the Chiefs now. I'm going to pick the Chiefs. It's because I think the Chiefs, as you said earlier, they find ways to win games. At some point it gets in your head that a team gets in your head. Like we look at San Francisco. San Francisco, who they play early this year, they lost him again. It was the Chiefs. It was the Chiefs. Kyle Shanahan cannot beat Steve Spagnolo. So there is a certain point when a team can get in your head and it just messes with everything. You just can't function as a group properly against them. [00:33:57] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:33:57] Speaker D: Now the Bills, as Evan alluded to a lot of success in the regular season against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. This time not so Chiefs win this one. But they do not. They might win the battle. They will not win the war of the season. I think the Bills are the best team in the afc. [00:34:14] Speaker A: Oh, wow. [00:34:15] Speaker C: Now there is going to be something to look at going into this week. They already ruled out Keon Coleman and Dalton Kincaid and Amari Cooper are both in the realm of not playing this game. [00:34:27] Speaker A: So that play that matters. [00:34:30] Speaker C: Yeah, no, it does matter. And I'm still going to say Bills because I'm still going to just trust that, you know, I know Sean McDermott said for, I think it was Omari Cooper that it's more of like a pain tolerance thing. And so we're just going to have to see if he can play or not with his wrist. So I'm going, I'm going to bank that they do play the Amar Cooper and Dalton Kincaid and if they do, I think they can pull this out. But if they don't, it's going to be a really tough one to see. So I'm still going to stick with Bills, but it's something to keep your eye on. [00:34:58] Speaker A: 3 to 1 bills, Chiefs to finish, right. Alex being the lone Chiefs pick. Alrighty. Let's get. Let's get one more in. Let's see. Let's talk about Bengals, Chargers before we go to break. [00:35:09] Speaker C: Evan. [00:35:10] Speaker B: Chargers have been kind of a surprising team to me. I am a Chargers hater. Going back to the Justin Herbert to a discourse. [00:35:18] Speaker A: Not a biased show, by the way. [00:35:19] Speaker B: In general, not at all. However, I'm a Justin Herbert fan. I only dislike him because of his fans. Justin Herbert's been a great player through his man. They make it so hard to root for that team. Take away the fans. I kind of love the team. I like Harbaugh as a leader. They're a good young team. They got cool colors. They got a good young quarterback. They're electric. [00:35:40] Speaker A: So it's okay for you to root for the team and not for the fans to root for the team, man. [00:35:45] Speaker B: The. The fans root against me. Me personally, I'm on the dump because of that Herbert TUA discourse, man. Let's not get into it because I'll get frustrated. But if there's any posts on Twitter talking about the Dolphins, there's going to be five Chargers fans saying, yeah, they would be better with Justin Herbert if Justin Herbert had Tyree Kill. I don't want to hear it. [00:36:03] Speaker C: Nice impression, Evan. [00:36:04] Speaker B: Yeah, that's exactly how they talk. However, I think the Chargers are a good team. They've got a winning quarter coach who just came off a championship. They've got a lineman who's, I mean, whole good line who's been protecting harbor. They're 6 and 3, which has gone over a lot of people's heads. I haven't seen anybody talk about the Chiefs. I'm Chargers. Excuse me. And the Bengals have been pulling out a lot of close losses. I still think the chief, excuse me, the Chargers win this one just in a close game. [00:36:37] Speaker A: All right, Chargers. [00:36:38] Speaker C: I'm going to go with Bengals. I think they have been flirting with win the past few weeks. I feel like mostly every loss so far this season have just been one possession. And I think the Chargers are like a really good sneaky team. They're six and three. But all of their wins have come against teams that are below.500. And I understand that the Bengals are also below.500, but it doesn't feel like it though. It doesn't. Their defense continues continuously. Lets them down. The Bengals offense is. It's been elite for most of the season. I feel like with Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase T. Higgins has been out for a while, but it still doesn't really matter. They have played really well against like teams like the Ravens and the Chiefs and stuff like that. But I'm going to go with the Bengals just because I think the Chargers are a good sneaky team. I don't think they have the firepower one to even keep up with the Bengals and I don't think the defense really can stop them consistently. I know their defense is really good, at least in the trenches. That's how what John Harbaugh always pride to self on. But I just think there's so many holes within that team and Harbaugh's doing a great job I guess just holding it together and getting these, these tough gritty wins. But yeah, I just don't know how you can come in and do it against the Bengals with that offense. So give me the Bengals to toot your horn. [00:37:58] Speaker B: The Bengals only two possession loss was against the Eagles. 27:17. [00:38:03] Speaker A: Good for you, man. [00:38:05] Speaker C: Guantanamo Bay. [00:38:05] Speaker B: Oh, 37:17. [00:38:06] Speaker A: Excuse me, Alex, what are you thinking man? [00:38:09] Speaker D: I like the Chargers this week and for a couple reasons. I think the Chargers have been very blessed this year by Justin Herbert. That is accurate. He's been accurate in the past but this season, especially 210 snaps he's done with, he's thrown without an interception. So he's been pretty squeaky clean this season. [00:38:27] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:38:27] Speaker D: And their defense obviously has been just tremendous. Cincinnati's defense has not been that. But the Chargers defense last year was bottom five in the league in total defense. This year, as I mentioned at the top of the show, 13 points a game, they're giving up 13 points a game on average they have not given up anything above 20 in a game. So it really is impressive what they're doing through the first nine games of the season. This would be a great test against the Bengals and it's at home. And now we're going to see a lot of the Chargers the next four weeks. They have a Thursday night, they have a not a Thursday night game but they play Sunday night this week. In three weeks they play again on Sunday night and then the following week that they play a prime time game on Fox. So you have about three of the next five games are going to be prime time games. So we're going to see what kind of team they have in la. But I like the win this week and I think if with a win this week I think they're definitely going to be in the playoffs. [00:39:30] Speaker A: Absolutely. [00:39:31] Speaker D: And this would knock the Bengals out For me, this would not. [00:39:33] Speaker C: Oh, no, it would definitely. [00:39:34] Speaker A: It has to. I'll be replaced by the Dolphins. [00:39:37] Speaker D: By the way, if I told you right now, if I told you, let's say, Evan, 10 weeks ago that going into week 11, the Panthers and the Dolphins had the same amount of wins, would you say the Dolphins would make the playoffs? [00:39:52] Speaker B: I would say, wow, the Panthers doing really good. [00:39:56] Speaker A: Fair enough. [00:39:57] Speaker D: That's a good answer. [00:39:58] Speaker A: I won't. I won't go too in depth in mine. You guys have made a lot of great points. I'm going to go Chargers, I think. I think the Bengals are going to struggle to stop their run game. And I think, again, I like the Chargers ability to stop the Bengals more than I do vice versa. So I'm going to go Chargers here. We'll make our last pick in the next segment, but we'll be back in just a few minutes. Wvuafm, Tuscaloosa hey, everybody, welcome back once again, again to the student section. NFL on 90.7. The capstone. First, we're going to do our final game pick, and then we're going to talk a little bit about the AFC playoff picture just because of its competitive nature before we get out of here. [00:40:56] Speaker B: But uncompetitive. [00:40:58] Speaker A: Uncompetitive nature. But yeah, let's talk Seahawks 49ers first. Who wants to. Who wants to give their pick first? [00:41:06] Speaker B: It's a good divisional matchup. I think they're one game apart. The, excuse me, Seahawks started out very strong. Since then have been one in five. Yeah, I'm honestly not too sure what their struggle has been. My computer's not loading either, so I can't really check. [00:41:26] Speaker A: All right. [00:41:27] Speaker B: But I think the 49ers have been hitting their stride before McCaffrey came back. Now that McCaffrey is back, they already have that game lead. They're. They're not really looking towards the Seahawks. They're looking towards the Cardinals. They're saying this is my division. I think they're going to show that this week with Seahawks and kind of wipe them off the floor. [00:41:43] Speaker C: Yeah, I don't think it's going to be like they're going to wipe off the floor. I think it's going to be a really close game. I don't think the 49ers have really looked particularly. Particularly good. [00:41:54] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:41:55] Speaker C: So far at all this season. And I don't think they looked good last week against Buccaneers either, even with Christian McCaffrey back. And the Seahawks are just coming off of a bye week. And I honestly think they could put that to use. I want to say DK Metcalf might be back this week or I could be completely wrong if he is back. [00:42:17] Speaker A: Yeah, I feel like he's supposed to be back. [00:42:19] Speaker C: Yeah. Realistic expectation to play this week. So I honestly, I'm going to go with the Seahawks because the last time they played was in Seattle, but they were also healthy besides cmc. Now, I mean, it's Debo as their wide receiver one. No. Brendan Ayuk. Ricky Pearsall has looked pretty good in stints. I still don't know how to feel about him as like the wide receiver too. Or even Juwan Jennings as a wide receiver too. Yeah, I think I wouldn't be surprised that the 49ers walk in and win this game not with ease, but just convincingly. But I am going to go Seahawks because usually this is kind of like a back and forth kind of rivalry. So I'm going to go with the Seahawks just because they're, I guess, more healthy. [00:43:02] Speaker A: I like it. Alex hit me. [00:43:04] Speaker D: I'm going to go with San Francisco. I think the last, the last time they played a couple of weeks ago on Thursday Night Football, we saw a competitive game that the 49ers then pulled away with a little bit at the end. [00:43:16] Speaker A: Yep. [00:43:16] Speaker D: I think we're going to see a non competitive game which the 49ers control for pretty much the whole time. And I'll tell you why. I think Seattle is a team that is primarily comprised of a passing offense. It's a heavy passing offense. Geno Smith is not a bad quarterback in the league. He'll get you 250 plus yards this game, but it's not going to be enough to win the game. And I'll tell you why. It's because of San Francisco's running attack going the other way. I feel really good about San Francisco on the ground. They have, they have the second most. Fifth, pardon me, fifth most rushing yards per game this season. And you look across the way at Seattle, 27th out of 32 teams. So I do feel really good about San Francisco especially getting their stride recently. They're starting to get healthy. Besides iuk, they're starting to get healthy. Debo Samuel starting to get healthier as well. And I think we're going to see a big game from San Francisco. [00:44:12] Speaker A: Absolutely. I'm, I'm also going to roll with the 49ers. I overall liked what I saw against a pretty solid Tampa Bay team. And again, I think Christian McCaffrey is just going to keep ramping up. And overall, I just like the options that the Niners have on offense compared to Seahawks. And I like the Niners defense more than I do the Seahawks defense. So, yeah, I'm gonna have to roll with the 49ers there and with our picks being made. Connor, you have documented them, I assume? [00:44:37] Speaker C: I have. [00:44:38] Speaker A: Perfect. I am excited. Should we get a score update real quick before we move on? Evan is not. [00:44:44] Speaker C: I say we could. [00:44:45] Speaker A: Yeah, we might as well. [00:44:46] Speaker C: So let me update it real quick. [00:44:48] Speaker A: Okay. [00:44:48] Speaker C: In first place, it's still me. Well, I want to say going into this week, me, Tanner, and Alex all went five or five for our picks. [00:44:57] Speaker A: Nice. [00:44:57] Speaker C: And Evan went three for five for refs. They were listed his picks. So I want to give everyone an update on what the scoring meter is now. And in first place, it's still me. It's the same margin as it was before. I have 32. [00:45:11] Speaker D: 3. [00:45:12] Speaker C: I have 30. Tanner has 20. 27. And then Alex took over. Well, he already had third place. Never mind. But he has 24 now, so. 24. [00:45:25] Speaker A: So 24 or 30? 27. 24. [00:45:28] Speaker C: And then Evan has 21. [00:45:31] Speaker B: That's my favorite number. So. [00:45:32] Speaker A: Wow, that's a pretty. That's a pretty good split. [00:45:35] Speaker C: I mean, it is. It's there. Everyone is finally coming, like, I guess in a huge group because, I mean, before it would be like, there's me and you or whatever. [00:45:46] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:45:46] Speaker C: And then Alex would be close behind and Evan would be all the way to. [00:45:50] Speaker A: I had an over week that set me back pretty hard, but I have. I'm like, I've. I haven't missed more than one pick in like four weeks. [00:45:58] Speaker C: You haven't. [00:45:58] Speaker A: So that's. [00:45:59] Speaker C: And that's. [00:46:00] Speaker A: I've been. I've been. I've been doing the work to get back in there, but again, I'm excited to see how our picks go. Excited to see our picks go for the sake of. We also picked a few different games this time. [00:46:12] Speaker C: We did. [00:46:12] Speaker A: So we could see some lead changes here potentially. Alex could overtake me. I could overtake you. Evan could make some progress. Who knows? But yeah, let's. Let's talk a little bit about the afc and again, just a little bit, because we got to get out of here in just a second. But as it stands right now, we have the Chiefs at one, obviously undefeated. The Bills sit at two. They have played one more game than the Steelers have, sitting at 8 and 2. Steelers third at 7 and 2. And then we have the Texans in fourth, and that is purely because they are leading the AFC south technically, I don't think. I guess they might, they'll probably will end up winning the AFC south potentially even though that they're probably not going to make a very long push as a playoff team. Then you have the Ravens at 5 with a 7, 3 record, the Chargers at 6 with a 6 and 3 record, and the Broncos at 7 with a 5 and 5 record. And there are a couple border teams. The main ones being at the top being the Colts because they stand the best chance to overtake the AFC south, the Bengals because of their just general season outlook. And then you have the Dolphins and the jets, which again are pretty much there on a technicality because of the status of their division. [00:47:25] Speaker B: Well, the jets are. They have an extra game and the same amount of wins, so we are technically ahead of them. [00:47:32] Speaker A: Who do we think is going to make this cut? Actually, I should really ask, do we have a team that we are very confident is going to make that, make that wild card round? That maybe doesn't look like it. [00:47:44] Speaker C: I really, I don't feel confident really in any team on the bubble right now that could make the end, that could end up making the wild card round. Maybe you could look at the Colts just because of the division outlook, but I don't really see the Dolphins overtaking the Bills in division. I don't see the Dolphins winning. I mean, I feel like even if they do win out, I don't think they'll still make the playoffs just because I think there's other teams in better situations with a better or maybe a little bit harder schedule, but still think they fare better than the Dolphins do right now. So I honestly think the way it looks, I mean I think the standings are going to change the way the matchups are, but I think this might be the playoff picture by the end of the year. [00:48:28] Speaker A: It'll be pretty close. And I think I also have to agree with the Colts just because of how it's going to shake out with their division and they feels like they have the best chance to improve. But that's not really. I haven't, you know, I really have any facts to back that, but kind of like we talked about with Joe Flacco and Anthony Richardson, like, my point for a while was that what do you really hope to accomplish with Joe Flacco and maybe you keep him in because of where you're at and you could make a potential playoff push. But I still think the team's overall success is quite similar with having both of those guys out on the field. And like we kind of saw that last Sunday. It was not a good day for Joe Flacco. Three picks. I want to say maybe something in that realm. [00:49:11] Speaker C: It was around there. It was a lot of trade. It was bad. [00:49:13] Speaker A: A few fumbles. Yeah. Not a good look for the Colts, but yeah. Before we get out here, do I have any more thoughts on the AFC playoff picture? [00:49:23] Speaker B: I have 1 through 4 staying the same with Ravens at 5 just because they don't win the division. And then Chargers at six. [00:49:31] Speaker A: Okay. [00:49:32] Speaker B: I think the Dolphins go seven for seven and one to finish out the season. They have a decently weak schedule. Only big games are Texans, packers and Niners. And as we've said, Niners are having a down year. Texans are having a down year. Packers. I'm not all the way bought into them. I think the Dolphins going into December, that's a bold claim to make because they are not a cold weather team. They've always been bad in December. Yeah, I think they got that fire in them. Especially with Tua back. Especially with Bama to a back. [00:50:01] Speaker D: I think there's only eight teams in the AFC that can contend for a playoff spot. I think the first six we see now are going to be in there. I think the Colts are the only team on the outside that could take over the Broncos spot. [00:50:14] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:50:14] Speaker D: And it's because the Colts record. The Colts teams down the stretch of their schedule are awful. I mean, you look at their last four weeks of the season that they have, they have Broncos. That's going to be a big game. [00:50:26] Speaker A: That will be a game. [00:50:27] Speaker D: Titans, Giants, Jaguars, they could easily win all four of those games. With the right stuff. [00:50:35] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:50:35] Speaker D: With the right stuff. Now, I think to your point about Joe Flacco, I think they should go back to Anthony Richardson. I think that was a mistake and I supported at the time. I think it's a mistake. And I don't know what your point is. By continuing to go with Joe Flack. Go down the stretch. [00:50:49] Speaker A: Exactly. Sorry. I put my hands up to take a quick victory lap because we had. We. We argued about that a little bit, but. But yeah, you're right. I appreciate that, Alex. Thanks, man. I really do. But yeah, any. Any last second points before we get out of here. That's your chance. I think. [00:51:04] Speaker C: I think we're good. [00:51:04] Speaker A: Good. All right. I don't believe. [00:51:06] Speaker C: Excited for this late. [00:51:08] Speaker A: Excited for the slate. Alex, what'd you say? [00:51:09] Speaker D: Cowboys are in deeper trouble than I thought. [00:51:12] Speaker A: Absolutely. [00:51:13] Speaker C: Who would have called that? [00:51:14] Speaker A: I think the worst. Take that. I will have this season is that the Cowboys were going to win the NFC East. That will probably be my worst opinion to just to start the season. [00:51:23] Speaker B: This isn't NFL take but just for any live viewers. Live listeners. Georgia is out of the playoff currently. [00:51:31] Speaker A: Wow. I did not know that that. Well. Tune into our college football show on Friday and you will hear a lot about how that happened and also a little bit more about next week. [00:51:40] Speaker D: Do I you on that show? [00:51:41] Speaker A: I'm not. I used to be though. I appreciate it though. Anyway, everybody, thank you so much for listening. We are the student section NFL. We will see you next week.
