[00:00:00] Speaker A: WVUAFM Tuscaloosa. Hello everybody. You are listening to WVUA 90.7 FM, Tuscaloosa student section. Fantasy Sports My name is Jamie Martinez and I'm joined by Jake Riker and Lincoln Burkholder on today's episode. We're going to get you ready for week eight of fantasy football. We're going to kick it off with our weekly recap including top performers, biggest surprises and biggest busts. Then we'll dive into our top players and predictions for the Thursday Night Football game against or between the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams. Then we're going to give our must start and must sit players for week eight. And don't forget to stick around for our favorite segment, panic or pause. So let's get it started. Week 7 recap Top performers Let's get it. [00:00:52] Speaker B: Well, I know you two have had some fun this year with your boy. [00:00:57] Speaker C: Here we go with your start the soap opera music with with your rants. [00:01:02] Speaker B: This year about Pat Sirtain, you know, on this week's segment, whatever. And then Jamie's had some rants. [00:01:09] Speaker C: We got another segment this week, by. [00:01:10] Speaker B: The way, about the 49ers. [00:01:12] Speaker A: I got another one today. [00:01:13] Speaker B: I think it's about time that I have my own soap opera link about the best quarterback in the NFL right now, Josh Allen. And that is Lamar Jackson. He is my. [00:01:25] Speaker C: Is he undefeated? [00:01:26] Speaker B: Huh? [00:01:27] Speaker C: Is he undefeated? [00:01:27] Speaker B: Josh Allen Undefeated? [00:01:28] Speaker C: No. Lamar Jackson? [00:01:29] Speaker B: No, no, he is not. [00:01:30] Speaker C: But Gardner Minshew, did he beat Patrick Mah? [00:01:33] Speaker A: Oh, I don't know if he did, if I can recall. [00:01:35] Speaker C: Okay. [00:01:36] Speaker B: That's all right. [00:01:37] Speaker A: I don't know. [00:01:38] Speaker C: No. [00:01:38] Speaker A: Do you think he could be Bo Nicks? [00:01:40] Speaker C: Oh, for sure. Oh, I could probably be Bo Nicks. [00:01:45] Speaker B: Anyway, he looked so bad. Back on track, Lamar Jackson this week on Monday night against Tampa Bay had 34.44 fantasy points. He had 281 yards through the air and he threw five passing touchdowns. You heard me right, five of them. John's five passing touchdowns. And that was also with only five incompletions. Same amount of touchdowns and incompletions. But I can confidently say that this year, watching Lamar Jackson play football is the best Lamar Jackson I've ever seen in his career by far. [00:02:16] Speaker C: That I can agree with. [00:02:17] Speaker B: And I am almost on the verge of calling him an elite passer because what he is doing through the air this year is just phenomenal. Point blank phenomenal. If the defense starts to play a little bit better, I don't see a lot of teams that can beat that Ravens team right now. Even Kansas City and Mahomes, who's awful. Whatever. He's undefeated. [00:02:37] Speaker C: Like Lincoln said in the Ravens current defense, that Chiefs team was healthy. [00:02:41] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:02:41] Speaker C: His current Chiefs team is not so very true. [00:02:47] Speaker B: But yeah, I mean, I've just, you know, I don't think I'll go on a soap opera because I'm almost out of words because of. There's not much else to say except for Lamar Jackson is playing phenomenal football right now. And for the people that still believe he can't throw, I mean, I don't really know what else to say. So they can just. They can just live there, I guess. [00:03:09] Speaker A: He's still. He's still my favorite running back. [00:03:11] Speaker B: Right, Right. Well, that's my top performer of the week and I think he was the top performer this week in fantasy football. [00:03:17] Speaker A: He might have been. Let me check. [00:03:19] Speaker B: 34. I didn't see anybody hired with him. My second guy on here. Yeah, he's never close, but I'm sure you guys will talk about him, so. [00:03:28] Speaker C: All right, let's get into my top performer. My notes aren't showing up on my computer. [00:03:34] Speaker A: Uh oh. [00:03:35] Speaker C: So we're going to move to my phone because I did them. [00:03:40] Speaker B: That's because you talked about Lamar Jackson. As soon as I started talking, I. [00:03:43] Speaker C: Didn'T even talk bad about it. All right, here we go. So you were talking about running backs a second ago. I want to talk about one who hasn't gotten a lot of discussion this year despite being incredible because he missed a little bit of time. It's Joe Mixon in Houston. He's been fantastic. Two weeks now, healthy, coming off that injury. New England and Green Bay, that's. Those aren't two pushover run defenses. I'd say New England probably is, but Green Bay, solid. 13 carries, 102 against New England, 25 carries, 115 against Green Bay. He's got three touchdowns in those two games, four catches, 39 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown in those two as well. He's had over 25 in both. 26.4 this week. He is locked in. That's an RB1 the rest of the season. He is great value for where he was going in drafts. Right now he's been phenomenal when he's been playing. Shout out, Joe Mixon. [00:04:37] Speaker A: Shout out to him. [00:04:38] Speaker C: Getting it done every year, honestly, year in and year out. Consistent top eight fantasy running back. Just a great draft pick. It's like Mike Evans of running backs. [00:04:47] Speaker B: Rest in peace, Mike Evans. [00:04:48] Speaker A: Mike Conley. [00:04:49] Speaker C: Hey, Mike Evans will Be back. [00:04:50] Speaker B: He will be back. [00:04:51] Speaker A: Three weeks. Okay. So my top performer the last time I was on this show, because last week I was sick, I was very ill. Last time I was on this show, my biggest bust was Bijan Robinson of the week. And through the last two weeks, he must have heard what I said because now it's time for me to sing his praises. Bijan Robinson, welcome back to Fantasy Relevance. Because last week, I mean, week six, it was Carolina, whatever, 25.5 points, his highest, you know, total of the season. And last week, nothing, you know, crazy, but still something special for me. 21 carries, 103 yards and a touchdown on the ground to go alongside three receptions for 40 yards through the air for B. John Robinson against Seattle, totaled up to 23.3 fantasy points. B John, my dog finally back on track. I love to see it. He is now back up to RB6. So he's been consistent all year. He's finally seeing those top end running back numbers and carries and target share. Look, love to see it. Bijan Robinson. Owners, we up. [00:05:50] Speaker C: Hey. Bout time. [00:05:51] Speaker A: Bout time. [00:05:54] Speaker B: My second top performer is another running back in the same draft class as B. John. And that is the. I think his nickname was Sonic in that. In that little combo that they have over in Detroit. And that's Jameer Gibbs. Jameer Gibbs dropped 32 fantasy points this week, had 116 yards and found the end zone twice. I've had a lot of praise for Gibbs going into this year. Montgomery went down, he got banged up and Gibbs took over in that thrilling NFC north battle that they ended up winning on a game winning field goal by Jesse Bates, I believe Jake Bates. Oh yeah. [00:06:30] Speaker A: Jesse Bates is the safety for the Falcons. Yeah. [00:06:34] Speaker B: Oh man. [00:06:34] Speaker A: Almost Bates. [00:06:35] Speaker C: He's in my close. [00:06:38] Speaker B: He's living rent free in my head. That's not good. But yeah, Gibbs looks phenomenal. I mean if he was just. If he didn't have Montgomery there. I love, I love what they do with Gibbs and Montgomery, but Montgomery wasn't there and it was just Gibbs. Oh my gosh. He put. Probably do that every week and. Yeah, but yeah, he's my second top performer this week. [00:06:57] Speaker C: All right, I'll get into my second guy. It's another running back and one that I needed a big performance from. He hadn't delivered in the previous two weeks on his top three draft pick that I spent on him in multiple leagues. It's Breece Hall. Needed a Sunday night miracle from the guy and I got it. 12 carries, 38 yards on the ground. Not much to talk about. [00:07:21] Speaker B: Their Monday night miracle. [00:07:23] Speaker C: The Monday night miracle was the six catches for 103 yards. He also got into the end zone. He would have had two touchdowns, but the jets interim head coach dropped the challenge flag and they ran another play before they could review a play where Breeze hall scored on and they scored a touchdown on that play. So lucky Breeze. I would have had six more but he had 26.1. He's back. He actually did deliver two weeks ago. Excuse me, at 21.6. It was the two weeks before that. But yeah, a great week for Breeze Hall. Thank him for delivering on the pick I spent on him. He's now RB4 on the season. Beast. [00:08:06] Speaker A: It was a pretty slim week for wide receivers this week, but nonetheless, I'm going to shout out the wide receiver one, and that is Amon Ra St. Brown, who had one heck of a game against Minnesota snapping their undefeated streak. But Amon Ross St. Brown, eight targets, eight receptions. That's efficient right there. With 112 yards and one touchdown, racking up 25.2 fantasy points. Like I said, pretty low for wide receiver one standards for a week, but nonetheless, Amon Rock gets it done. Beats up on the Vikings who were undefeated going into the season. So shout out to him. Shout out among us St. Brown. So let's move on to our biggest surprises. [00:08:46] Speaker B: Yeah, I guess I'll hop in. Doing some doing my prep this week for the show. There wasn't really that many surprising fantasy scores. A couple guys that I didn't want to put on my surprise list because I expected them to do pretty well. Well, I guess that's just one guy. But my first guy on here is actually. I'll do my second guy first. I think he's more of a surprise and that's Rashad White. Rashad White was kind of like a. [00:09:11] Speaker C: Last on my list. Golly, we hated on him so much. [00:09:14] Speaker B: Yes, we did. He was like a last minute, last minute even start with his injury and then he kind of ended up playing in Baltimore and he dropped 29 fantasy points. Let's check his stat line out. I know he did a ton through the air. [00:09:30] Speaker C: Six for 71. Two tutties through the air. [00:09:33] Speaker B: Yeah, that's crazy. [00:09:34] Speaker C: Ten for 40 on the ground. [00:09:35] Speaker B: A lot of it was kind of. Baltimore got up big in that game. They're up. I think we're up by 24. At one point close to. [00:09:40] Speaker C: It was almost 30. It was almost 30. It might have been 30. [00:09:44] Speaker B: They scored a lot of garbage time points there was a broken coverage. I think that was the Bucky Irving touchdown meet. No, I think it was a Rashad White touchdown receiving touchdown. But so a lot of credit for his points goes there. But nonetheless, got to give him his Praise. Almost dropped a 30 burger on Monday night. [00:10:02] Speaker C: Late on Monday night. [00:10:03] Speaker B: Yes, he did. [00:10:04] Speaker C: All right. Yeah, so I'll move into. I'll switch this up here. Go to my other biggest surprise, and that is, I'll talk about a Bronco here. Let's talk about Javante Williams. [00:10:14] Speaker A: Oh my gosh. [00:10:15] Speaker C: Year two now removed from that horrific injury that I was worried would end his career. It appears it is not. Javante Williams, who has struggled to begin this year, broke out against a actually pretty good New Orleans rush defense. Granted, they were in a pretty tough situation on Thursday night. They spent pretty much the entire game on the field because the Saints couldn't move the football. But yeah, 14 carries for 88 yards, 6.3 yards per carry. It was the Javante that I saw in his rookie season where he was just bouncing off tacklers. It looked like nobody could bring him down like I was. Every time we handed him the ball, I was like, all right, we're getting five yards and that's what I need from Javante. He also had two touchdowns. He finally got into the end zone for the first time this year. That hurts to say, but yeah, two times and then three catches for 23 yards. He had 26 fantasy points. I benched him in one league, but I won't be benching him anymore. Shout out, Javante. He's back. Potentially big dog. The Broncos will not be up by that much in most of their games, though, so maybe the game script helped. But yeah, he gets a shout out this week. [00:11:19] Speaker A: My biggest surprise this week, I feel like everybody wanted to say Rashad White, but I found a little pivot. A guy who really kind of saw his opportunities skyrocket after the Amari Cooper trade was Cedric Tillman. Everybody kind of expected Jerry Judy to take that big jump once Cooper was traded and get all these targets and whatnot, but it was Cedric Tillman. Tillman saw 12 targets with eight receptions, 81 yards for a grand total of 18.1 points. Again, nothing eye popping, but if Cedric Tillman's sitting there on your waivers and you're in a little 12 man league, go ahead and go get him because the Browns might have found their next little Amari Cooper replacement. Now, with Jameis Winston starting, I think they're going to be a much better passing team than they would be with either of desean Watson or Dorian Thompson Robinson. [00:12:07] Speaker C: So if you're in a 10, man, I'd go get him too. [00:12:10] Speaker A: Yeah, even, even that he could average like 15. Yeah, there's a couple of really good waiver guys out there. I know waivers kind of passed already, but if Jalen McMillan still out there or Cedric Tillman, Ricky Piersol or Jawan Jennings, one of those guys, I'd go out and look for him. [00:12:24] Speaker C: But Jennings out there, spend everything you got on Juwan. [00:12:26] Speaker A: Jennings is there. Go get him. But Ricky Piersol as well. Go get him. Shout out Cedric Selman, though. I landed him in waivers. Big time ad, Big time week. [00:12:35] Speaker C: All right, I'll talk about our Jake. Excuse me. [00:12:38] Speaker A: Wow. [00:12:39] Speaker C: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. [00:12:40] Speaker B: No, go ahead. [00:12:40] Speaker C: I'm just so excited to talk about. [00:12:42] Speaker B: Go ahead. [00:12:42] Speaker A: First he hates on Lamar Jackson, now he's skipping turns. [00:12:45] Speaker B: Go ahead. [00:12:45] Speaker C: Dude, I'm a backup. Back off. [00:12:47] Speaker B: No, I'm not talking. It's all you, man. Not after that. [00:12:50] Speaker C: Back off the mic. [00:12:51] Speaker B: That's crazy. [00:12:52] Speaker A: Fight, Fight. [00:12:54] Speaker B: Okay, fine. [00:12:55] Speaker C: Lamar Jackson's QB1. Does that hope? [00:12:57] Speaker A: No. [00:12:58] Speaker B: Sure. So my second biggest surprise is another running back who played across the pond this Sunday. And that's Tank Bigsby. [00:13:07] Speaker A: Very Brittany. [00:13:08] Speaker B: It wasn't really that much of a surprise. That's what I was kind of hinting at earlier. But he dropped 23.8 fantasy points in PPR leagues. But watching that game after. I was watching that game in Knoxville after Alabama lost Tennessee. So it was not very, you know, a great watch. But Tank bigs me look like he could not get tackle in that game. I mean he was getting like. And they, they ran the ball like eight plays in a row, back to back drives. It was just run after run after run and he would get like 6 yards, 7 yards, 5 yards, 6 yards. I mean they just could not tackle. He looked like a beast back there with ETN out with that hamstring injury. If Bigsby continues to be RB1 and ETN is sidelined, he is a must start in a lot of leagues. Except for last week when he dropped like three and he was a starting running back. But hopefully that doesn't continue. [00:14:00] Speaker C: Yeah, I did not wake up early enough Sunday morning to put him in my lineup when ETN was ruled out at 5:30am Central Time. But now I'll get into. You guys will understand why I was so excited. Let's talk about Jonu Smith. What a name. What a. What a. He's a tight end of all time for sure, he'll probably never do this again, but Shout out Johnny Smith. Nobody on the Dolphins. Not Tyreek Hill, not the best receiver in football, not the amazing Jalen Waddle. None of them could get anything going but John New Smith. Tyler Huntley threw to him seven times. He caught every single one of them. 96 yards through the air, 13.7 per catch, and he had a touchdown. 22.6 points. He actually had 11.1 in the game before their buy. I don't know how much Tibet will throw to him, but yeah, good. Great week from Johnny Smith. Not a guy who I expected to see much, but I guess the Dolphins really don't have a tight end, so he's still pretty solid. Titans legend, Beast, Patriots legend. [00:15:07] Speaker A: Before I get into my next big surprise, Shout out. Robert Sala, former Jets head coach, just got hired to be the offensive consultant for the Green Bay Packers. [00:15:17] Speaker C: Awesome. [00:15:18] Speaker A: Not sure. [00:15:19] Speaker C: Is that what my phone's vibrating? [00:15:20] Speaker A: Yeah. Officially hired as a consultant to help the offensive side of the game for Green Bay packers, per multiple reports. Pretty weird considering he's been a defensive coach his entire career. Now he's the offensive consultant for the Packers. [00:15:34] Speaker C: Was horrible. [00:15:35] Speaker A: Yeah, very weird hire. He definitely could have been coordinator somewhere. Yeah, I don't even know. Some confusing. Just a little bit of breaking news. But my biggest surprise though. Well, at least my next one, I'm going to go Keon Coleman, Buffalo Bills. Now the wide receiver two with Amara Cooper now there. But even with Cooper, Coleman saw very, very good workload. Seven targets, four receptions, 125 yards, no touchdowns, but still a grand total of 16.5 points. Shout out Keon Coleman. He had himself a pretty solid game and I believe he will start racking up more of those performances as time goes on. With Amar Cooper in that offense, the Bills look very dangerous. [00:16:14] Speaker C: He's so fun to watch, man. [00:16:15] Speaker A: Yeah, very dynamic. Very fun guy too. Shout out Kawhi. [00:16:19] Speaker C: That Bill's offense is so fun. [00:16:21] Speaker A: Yeah, now we can get very sad and go to our biggest busts. [00:16:26] Speaker B: Yeah, I got a grudge being held on my first biggest bust and it's really just disappointing. I mean, I needed a pretty solid week from him on Monday Night Football for me to win, but it was very doable considering you're a wide receiver and one on offense. But his name is Marvin Harrison Jr. Maserati Mar 5.1 fantasy points on his Monday Night Football debut in the NFL. All I needed from him was like 20. Like that's not. I feel like that's not from a. [00:16:57] Speaker C: Guy you spent a top three round, probably top two round. [00:16:59] Speaker B: He was my second round pick. [00:17:01] Speaker C: 12 man league. [00:17:02] Speaker B: He's going down as well. Like some people took on the first round. He was. Oh yeah. [00:17:06] Speaker C: So many. [00:17:06] Speaker A: That was bad. [00:17:07] Speaker C: 7 yards fantasy owner. That was maybe one of the most painful games I've ever watched. And they just kept replaying it. I was like, stop showing me that he's wide open. [00:17:17] Speaker B: So it's just disappointing. I don't know. There has to be something going on in Arizona for them to not like I don't. I don't want to just sit here and blame Kyler Murray, but like if you're missing so many wide open touchdowns, like, how are you not going through your progressions? Right? Like, I know he's probably not the first read, but I mean when he's. [00:17:34] Speaker A: One, I don't care what read he is. If he is wide booty naked, wide. [00:17:39] Speaker B: Open, he's wide open down the field. [00:17:41] Speaker C: He should probably be. Let me see. Read number one. [00:17:43] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:17:44] Speaker A: Every time. [00:17:44] Speaker C: Maybe two. Every bride might be Trey McBride. [00:17:47] Speaker A: He's on my fantasy team. I'm gonna need some. [00:17:49] Speaker C: Why is Michael Wilson out targeting Marvin? Why is Greg Dorch out targeting Marvin? [00:17:53] Speaker B: Eric doesn't mean any sense. It really doesn't. I. Who knows? But yeah, that he has a grudge. I have a grudge against him. I guess I'll hold it on Kyler Murray because I like Marvin Harrison too much. But yeah, he's got to start scoring some more points because I'm tired of seeing him get under single or under double digits in the single digits almost every single week. [00:18:17] Speaker A: It's sad. [00:18:19] Speaker C: All right. I don't have this guy in any leagues, but I'm sure a couple people would have a bone to pick with him. Nico Collins down for with an injury. He's on ir. So Tank Dell steps in to the wide receiver two role next to Stefan Diggs where he produced incredibly last year. Next to Nico Collins puts up 18.7 points in his first week as the wide receiver. Receiver two comes out in week two against a green Bay secondary. That's really not all that amazing. Goose egg, 0.04 targets, nothing else. Just embarrassing, man. Just unfortunate. I had like. I mean I was praising him last week. We were talking about him as like start him as like a wide high end wide receiver too but. And I still would. He plays the Colts this week, so I still would. But wow, is that pretty high scoring game too? [00:19:08] Speaker A: Very. [00:19:09] Speaker C: So I don't know what went wrong. He dropped a touchdown I'm reading his little thing here. It says he was targeted on the end zone on consecutive plays. First one off his hands and he came down out of bounds with the second one. [00:19:21] Speaker A: Oh. [00:19:22] Speaker C: So. Just sounds like a painful game for Tank Dell fantasy owners. I don't have much more to say. It's scored zero points, so we can. We can move on. Don't do it again, Tank. [00:19:34] Speaker A: Speaking of zero points, I've been on a rant about this guy a few times this year. [00:19:39] Speaker C: This has happened a lot this year. Zero points. [00:19:42] Speaker A: Most recently, just the last time I was on the show, I went on my biggest rant about this guy. Primetime football. Went on a rant about him, had him as my biggest performer. You know, he was the second biggest performer that game. Shout out George Kittle. But this week, big old goose egg and a little hint of pneumonia from D big back Samuel. D big back is Cheeto Samuel, like. [00:20:07] Speaker C: Sitting on the bench? [00:20:08] Speaker A: Yeah, Cheeto Samuel. [00:20:10] Speaker C: Street clothes Samuel. [00:20:11] Speaker A: I don't know. [00:20:12] Speaker C: He had pneumonia, though, man. He was in the hospital. Cut him some slime. [00:20:15] Speaker A: Debo sandwich. Like, I. I don't know. If you have pneumonia and only play three plays, you should have sat out beforehand and let me know before you drop a big old goose egg in my starting lineup and I lose because of it. Just tell me it'd be okay. But now all of a sudden, he's posting on his Instagram, playing around with his kid out in the playground. He's fine. He's completely fine. So, D big back Samuel, I'm sorry, but I'm back on my weekly rant about you because I can't have it anymore. I'm too close to seeing the light. My fantasy team is too good right now for you to be, you know, taking nights off and looking like James Harden about a Popeyes biscuit away from being a tight end out there. So I can't do it with Debo anymore. But if he is healthy, he's good to have, you know, no IUK after a torn acl, go out and trade for D big back Samuel because he saw a little bit of juice left. [00:21:09] Speaker C: I actually almost, like sent out a trade offer for him this morning. [00:21:12] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, wide receiver. [00:21:14] Speaker C: He's like the only guy I got right now. [00:21:16] Speaker A: It is him. [00:21:16] Speaker C: He's coming. [00:21:17] Speaker A: Juwan and Ricky Pierce, all two weeks, I think. Yeah, two weeks. CNC will be back, so look for that. [00:21:22] Speaker B: Actually, like, going to be back. [00:21:23] Speaker A: That's what they're saying. They haven't opened the practice window yet, but apparently he was shooting long raids, jump shots in practice today. And I mean, that means he was jumping up and down. So that. That makes fantasy owners jump up and down. [00:21:34] Speaker B: Yes. [00:21:36] Speaker A: Yeah, It'll be after the buy, so probably week 11. [00:21:38] Speaker C: Hey, probably open it next week. Yeah, he'll practice in the buy and I'll come back. And week 10, it's like the same thing. Puka, I think, is coming back. [00:21:47] Speaker A: Yeah, Puka's coming back. Praise everybody that Puka's coming back. Hopefully Cooper cup gets traded, too. [00:21:52] Speaker C: The Broncos. Oh, George Payton, pick up the phone. Trade for David. [00:21:58] Speaker B: You see, he almost went to the Chiefs this morning. [00:21:59] Speaker A: That would have been a national trade. [00:22:01] Speaker B: That's what I woke up to. Yeah. I was literally just gonna say that if I would have woken up to the notification of Cooper cup going to Kansas city instead of DeAndre Hopkins, I don't think I would have. [00:22:09] Speaker C: I opened up this morning. Yeah. I opened up my phone today to a fake tweet that said Cooper cup was a Bronco, which I missed the days. I missed the days when we were trash and no one made fake tweets about us acquired players. But now I've seen a fake Najoku tweet a fake cup tweet. I'm numb to it now, man. [00:22:26] Speaker A: It's over. [00:22:27] Speaker C: But this must have been how you felt during Orioles season. But I got. [00:22:32] Speaker B: Okay. [00:22:32] Speaker C: Whoa. What? Who's up? [00:22:33] Speaker B: We're talking about the Orioles now. [00:22:35] Speaker C: I was saying with the players at the deadline, all the fake tweets. [00:22:39] Speaker B: Yeah, that. Yeah. [00:22:40] Speaker A: Shout out Gunner Henderson. But with that, we're gonna be right back after a short intermission with our Thursday Night Football predictions. We'll see you soon. WVUAFM Tuscaloos. Welcome back to WVUA 90.7 FM Tuscaloosa student section. Fantasy sports. We're back at it with our Thursday night football predictions between the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams. Let's get into it. Top player score predictions. [00:23:29] Speaker B: All right, My top performer this week, I really don't hope I jinx him because he's in my big league. I need him to do good. So I hope he doesn't throw up like a dud, but he hasn't pretty much all year long, so I'm going with the top. One of the top running backs fans this year, Kyren Williams for the Rams. He's been phenomenal pretty much all year. Very consistent at running back for the Rams. I got him with 17 carries, 112 yards, and I have him finding the end zone twice against Minnesota. Jumping into my prediction. There's so much pressure on me over here picking the games because, like, I need to keep picking right for me and Lincoln too to catch Jamie. We're both sitting at 2 and 3. Jamie's still sitting at 5. 0. A lot of me really, really wants to pick the Rams to win this game. I just have a feeling, but I'm not going to. I won't be upset if I. If I lose this pick just because I'm going to play it safe. I think the Vikings are going to get it done on the road after a loss, their first loss this season this week against or this past week against the Lions. So I'm going with a Vikings thrilling win 34:23 over the LA Rams. [00:24:42] Speaker A: And so far I like that. [00:24:44] Speaker C: All right. I got a running back. It's not the running back you had, though. It's a guy I am going to need a big performance from. I have him in a couple leagues. It's Aaron Jones in Minnesota. He was great last week. I say that with this tone of voice because I thought he wasn't gonna play and I didn't start him. And he scored 20 points on my bench, which kind of hurt. But this week he's not gonna be on my bench. And the Rams run defense, not very good. So I Got Aaron Jones 18 carries, 108 yards, two touchdowns, four catches for 38 yards. That put him 30. Nice little 30. Burger on Thursday night would go quite crazy. And I got the Vikings taking care of business. 34, 20. I think they're a much better football team than LA. [00:25:29] Speaker A: Yeah, I completely agree. I think Kyron's a very safe pick because he's a touchdown lock. I'm pretty sure he's pushing what, 14 or 15 straight games with the touchdown. Very, very good. But I'm not going to go with that route. I got to keep my undefeated streak alive with these Thursdays and a football pick. So Justin Jefferson for president. I have Jed is going eight catches on 11 targets, 142 yards. I got a big game from Jay Jedis. [00:25:54] Speaker B: Wow. [00:25:54] Speaker A: This week. Yeah, big time. And a touchdown. So I'm going to have him with 28.2 fantasy points. Vikings win 31 24. Minnesota just looks very, very good. They did lose this week, but it was against a very legitimate Lions team. So the Vikings hanging with the best of them. Shout out Sam Darnold, former former Niner. So I'm gonna go Minnesota taking this one, hopefully keeping my undefeated streak alive. So let's move on to the best thing ever. [00:26:22] Speaker B: Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy. I've been waiting all week for this because Lincoln and I didn't do it last week. We talked about Devontae Adams and Garrett Wilson and Amar Cooper. Not that that wasn't bad. Lincoln. I loved our conversation last week, but sounds like fun. Panic Paws is back and I got a good one because he is just ripping my heart out every single week and I almost want to put him on the bench, but I drafted him in the third round. [00:26:46] Speaker A: Oh. [00:26:47] Speaker B: So I can't really do that, especially at this position. My first pinnacle pause is Sam Laporta, who has been unbelievably booty bad. [00:27:01] Speaker A: It's pretty insane how bad he's been. Like yeah, last year he was a lock for double digit points, maybe a touchdown, all these yards. Tight end won by a good amount and that is just not the case this year. And not sure what's happened. He's almost phased out of the offensive. I don't know. I mean they're just, the Lions are really reliant on running the ball with Sonic and Knuckles and if they got a pass, they got Amon Ra. They're going to hit him intermediate and if they want to throw deep, they got JMO down there somewhere. So it's pretty weird how Laporte has been phased out and one of his his big point plays this year was on a trick play like a double flea flicker reverse and they hit him for the touchdown. So even then they're only looking for him on those trick plays that they're not going to pull out very often. I'm panicking on Sam Laporta, which is insane to play. Insane to say he's a second year tight end who was so good his rookie year. Not sure what's happening now. So yeah, pretty. It's almost inconceivable how mediocre or bad he's been. So hopefully Laporta can get it back on track because right now, like I said, if you took him in the third round, that is rough for sure. [00:28:10] Speaker C: Yeah, I don't have a ton to talk about. Sam Laporte has been. I picked him in the radio show Fantasy league actually. He's now sitting on my bench behind Barack Bowers obviously. But yeah, he's been bad, bad over 10 points just once this season. He's gone under five twice. He has not topped five targets in a game. He's only had five in one. He's only topped three targets in two games and he's only topped two targets in three. He's not getting looks, he's not converting those into touchdowns. He's one touchdown. It came on a flea flicker trick play. It was his only target of that game. It's not like there's not like work to go around, especially now that JMO's out. Maybe he'll. With JMO out two games for the suspension, maybe he'll get a little bit more work. But I'm panicking too. It's been too long. It's week eight. We're past, we're past the waiting period. If you're, if you've been sitting and waiting for Sam Laporta and you're sitting at 2 and 5 or 2 and 6, like, or 1 and 6, even. I'd say even 3 and 4, like, you gotta, you gotta move on, you gotta find something else because Sam Laporta is not getting it done this year. So I don't know what went wrong. I really don't. So it's disappointing. But I'm panicking. [00:29:25] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree with both of you. I mean, I took Laporta here. I'm looking at this league that I have in. I think it's a 14 man league. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Yeah, 14 man league. I took him very early because I was like, hey, I'll get a really good tight end and I'll take a hit at running back. I think it was. And I'm taking a hit at tight end and running back now. Luckily I'm still 52 because Jefferson and Lamar Jackson have just been carrying my team. [00:29:50] Speaker C: I have him in a 14 man. [00:29:51] Speaker B: League too, but yeah, I had to pick up Pat Fryermuth. Thank goodness I have him as well because the tight ends on the waiver in a 14 man league. Let's see the top guy, it's Noah Phant. So it's just not ideal. I have to panic. I'm still going to hold on hope even though Lincoln's probably right and I should get rid of it. But Laporta, he's got to turn around because like all three of us have said we don't know what's going on. Because he was a beast last year. [00:30:19] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:30:20] Speaker B: And it's not like when he was a beast last year. It took away from Amunra and Gibbs because they were also brilliant last year with Laporta also playing well. So yeah, I don't. Sad times in Detroit and sad times for. Well, it's actually not, not sad time for Detroit, but it's Sad time for Sam Laporta, definitely. [00:30:42] Speaker C: Yeah, that was a rough one to start and it's only going to get worse from here. [00:30:47] Speaker B: Oh, boy. [00:30:47] Speaker C: We already mentioned him once on this episode and I've. I spent a high draft pick on him in several leagues. I was super high on him coming into the season. I was. I was saying he was a borderline first round pick. Marvin Harrison junior. [00:31:02] Speaker B: Oh, God. [00:31:03] Speaker C: Oh, brother. [00:31:04] Speaker A: Maserati Marv. [00:31:05] Speaker C: Oh, brother. Maserati Marv. He's now down to projected 13 points on the season. He's only scored over 15 three times. He scored 5.60 and 5.1 in the previous three weeks. Granted the zero. He got a concussion in the second quarter, I think maybe the first quarter, but either way, he didn't have a point until then. Only over 20 once. But he's just not seeing the target volume that I would expect him to. And I don't know if the connection's just off, but what do you guys think? [00:31:35] Speaker A: I think that's what it has to be because it's weird of someone like Marvin Harrison Junior's talent to be utilized so poorly. And I saw this video of somebody covering it and his route tree is like very similar to what it was in college. So it's not like what he's running is super, super different. But what he is running different is he's running vertical much, much more often than he did in college. Like he's just running go balls now. And we saw it with that play that was missed on Primetime where Marvin Harrison runs, you know, double cut way up the field and wide open. Kyler misses him. So it's weird that the targets aren't there. I'm. I'm gonna pause for now because I think that those targets have to go up for somebody like Marv's, you know, what he. What is. What's in his bag. It's pretty crazy. So regardless, I think eventually the targets will go up. Kyler's gonna realize that, hey, I may be short, but I have a six, five freak of nature running around down there. I gotta hit him. So I'm gonna. I'm gonna pause on Maserati Marv right now because I think it's all there. Just gotta wait for the Cardinals to get hot. So I think they'll. They'll be fine. [00:32:45] Speaker B: I'm gonna go along with Jamie as well. I think it's part of it might be just because I have so much love for how Marvin Harrison plays the game. He's super talented. And I mean, there's not much more else to say after what Jamie said. He's completely right. He's getting open. He's. I mean, he had one drop on the sideline, like on the final drive of the game. But like, so what? Like, Kyler's just got to find them more. And I don't know what the Cardinals are doing. There's no way they're already tanking for a draft pick. It's week eight in the NFL season. [00:33:16] Speaker C: I mean, they won, but. [00:33:17] Speaker B: What? [00:33:18] Speaker C: Yeah, the other night. Last night. [00:33:20] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:33:20] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:33:21] Speaker B: So it's not even like they're trying to lose. Really not. [00:33:24] Speaker C: They might have a winning. [00:33:25] Speaker B: And with how bad the NFC is, they could sneak in. [00:33:28] Speaker C: Think about how bad their division is. [00:33:29] Speaker B: They can sneak in the wild. [00:33:31] Speaker A: There's some bad teams in that division. [00:33:32] Speaker B: You can sneak into the watch. [00:33:33] Speaker A: I can think of one off the top of my head that they already beat. [00:33:36] Speaker B: So, yeah, I'm gonna have to pause looking at his schedule. I mean, he's going up against some secondaries that aren't barbecue chicken aren't flashing. He's got Miami. I mean, they've. [00:33:50] Speaker C: They've allowed. They've allowed the lowest fantasy points to wide receivers. Miami, they're number one. [00:33:55] Speaker B: Wow. Interesting lockdown. [00:33:57] Speaker C: Well, I only know that because I have them this week. And that's who they play, right? [00:33:59] Speaker B: Yeah, they play Miami, then Chicago, which is not great, but then you got the Jets. Their defense is dismantled by week. Seattle defense, Minnesota defense, Seattle defense, New York or New England. Sorry. Carolina. I mean, if you make it to the playoffs with Marv, the first week of the playoffs, you're playing against Carolina. So that is awesome. [00:34:17] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:34:17] Speaker C: Barbecue. [00:34:18] Speaker A: Just about what you need. [00:34:19] Speaker B: But I think. I don't. I don't. To me, it doesn't really matter what defense he's playing because he. Because of his talent. And I'm getting a FaceTime call as I'm trying to look at his stats. [00:34:30] Speaker A: Answer it. [00:34:31] Speaker B: No, it's my buddy who's coming down tomorrow. But yeah, I'm going to pause on Marv, too. [00:34:36] Speaker C: Yeah, I mean, you guys said pretty much everything. I have the utmost faith in Marvin Harrison Jr. And he's the most talented receiver I've ever seen coming out of college in my lifetime. To this point. We've seen rookie receivers. Gets super hot down the stretch. I think that'll happen with Marv. So I'm going to pause. As disappointing as it's been, I think. [00:34:54] Speaker A: I'll be okay for sure. My panic or pause. I got a running back who New team this year has seen some success over the last couple weeks, has completely taken over his backfield after a lot of people thought it was going to be split carries, but the Titans are blowing everything up. So it's Tony Pollard. He's pieced together a couple of decent weeks, but now with the Titans, you know, obviously trading D Hop and they're trading pieces of the defensive way. Harold. Harold Landry is up for a trade. Who knows what else the Titans are going to do. Tony Pollard is kind of like the last leg of that offense now, but I feel like they're going to be playing from behind a lot. So that kind of hurts Pollard. So how are we feeling? [00:35:35] Speaker B: I'm going to panic on Pollard just because I don't know, like this whole year, I mean, he was phenomenally consistent. I don't even know if that's even a word, but very consistent. Early in the season he was getting like 14 a week. But like you said, Tennessee is just blowing everything up. I can't say that I can. I can trust Tony Pollard going forward as a fantasy running back. I really can't. Unless he's a. It's a big league and he's in a flex spot. Of course you're going to play him because that's phenomenal if you have him in a flex spot in a big league. But that's not the case for most people with where you drafted him. So I got a panic once. Tony Pollard. [00:36:13] Speaker C: Yeah. So I actually have the complete opposite believer. I think this helps Tony Pollard. He is. You are correct. You guys are right. He's all they have left. It's literally. That's literally it. Traylon Burks at this point I think is probably the best receiver on that roster. Oh, my bad. I forgot about him. [00:36:32] Speaker A: Well, no, it's really. [00:36:34] Speaker B: Lincoln into him last week. [00:36:36] Speaker A: Really. [00:36:37] Speaker C: Calvin Ridley has been killing me this year. I don't even. I don't even have him in any leagues. It's just like, you should be better than this. He scored like two points again this week, by the way. I said he was banned from biggest bus, but he scored two points again this week. But yeah, I'm actually. I think this helps him. I think the touches are going to go up even more. He's already getting 15ish carries a game. 20 and 1. He's getting a decent amount of passing work. So I think that'll go up now with. With D Hop gone, he's been averaging about 14 a game. So I think if you're running them out in A flex spot, low end, RB2, if you've got great receivers. I still like Tony Pollard. I think he's good. [00:37:12] Speaker A: So, yeah, Pollard's a tough one because like I said earlier, with the Titans blowing everything up, it's going to be hard for Pollard, you know, get the plays since they're going to be playing from behind a lot. And usually if you're playing from behind, you're going to throw the ball. So I'm going to hit a little panic button. Just a little one. Not another big one, just a little one. Because Pollard has the talent. He's like the last leg of that offense. He's still very, very talented. He's getting, you know, the touchdowns now, which he didn't really see a lot when he was in Dallas and people thought it was going to be a split backfield between him and Ty J. Spears and that is just not the case. So I'm pretty sure the Tennessee is also ditching Will Levis and moving on to Soup for Brains Mason Rudolph. So we'll see how that goes. [00:37:57] Speaker C: Hurt though. [00:37:58] Speaker A: I think so. Too much mayonnaise, something. [00:38:01] Speaker C: There's no way they turn away from him after blowing up the team. [00:38:04] Speaker A: No, they can't. [00:38:05] Speaker C: You have to keep playing. [00:38:06] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:38:06] Speaker C: See if you have something. I don't really know if they do, but. [00:38:10] Speaker A: I don't know. But regardless of who's playing quarterback, I think Pollard's gonna get the touches. It's just the Titans aren't gonna be winning very many games whatsoever. So. A little panic button. Nothing too crazy though. But with that, should we. [00:38:23] Speaker C: Oh yeah. We'll talk about DeAndre Hopkins when we get back. [00:38:26] Speaker A: Yeah, with that. We'll be right back after a Short intermission with 90.7 FM student section fantasy sports season. WVUAFM Tuscaloosa. Welcome back to WVUA 90.7 FM Tuscaloosa. You are listening to student section Fantasy sports. Bless you. We're back with our week eight. Bless you. Must starts and must sit. So let's get into it. [00:39:10] Speaker C: All right. [00:39:11] Speaker B: My first must start of the week is a wide receiver that has been a must sits for the last couple weeks because his quarterback got a big knock in the head womp. And it's not entirely kill. It's the other guy I'm going with. Jalen Waddle to a Tonga viola. Is that how you say his last name? [00:39:29] Speaker A: Tag of. [00:39:29] Speaker B: I love tag of viola. Why did I put an end in there? [00:39:31] Speaker A: Whoops. [00:39:34] Speaker C: Totally botched sometimes like on broadcast, say Tonga by low. [00:39:37] Speaker B: Yeah, they do. [00:39:38] Speaker C: I'VE heard that a lot. [00:39:39] Speaker B: Okay, so it's not just me. [00:39:40] Speaker C: I'm not sure which one it is. I thought it was Tiger by Loa. [00:39:43] Speaker B: Well, to a T. To a T is back. TT Is back as the starting quarterback for the Miami Dolphins this week without a guardian cap. We'll see how it goes. I'm sure he'll be played fine until he gets hit again. But Joan Waddle against that Arizona defense. Waddle was pretty much great this year with Tua back there quarterback, which is only a week and a half, but the numbers were there, so he's got to be in your lineup. [00:40:10] Speaker C: Yeah. Also start Tyree Kill if you have him. [00:40:13] Speaker A: Maybe. [00:40:13] Speaker C: Definitely do that again. [00:40:14] Speaker A: I've been setting them. [00:40:15] Speaker C: Yeah, so have I. I talked about this guy earlier, so I don't have to talk about it too much, but Javonte Williams is my first must start. [00:40:22] Speaker B: Wow. [00:40:23] Speaker C: Had a fantastic game last week. And it's the Panthers, so that shouldn't be a problem for Javonte. Broncos should be up in this one early and often. He should get plenty of touches, plenty of work, and he should get in the end zone. So definitely put him in your lineup this week. [00:40:38] Speaker A: I talked about this guy earlier because he's Mario Cooper 2.0. It's Cedric Tillman against the Ravens. I'm sorry, Jake, but the Ravens have given up a lot of points to receivers this year. And despite how bad the Browns are, I think they're going to be playing from behind the whole time. So I think Cedric Tillman garbage time points are what we're looking for here. So shout out Jameis Winston. You got to sling the rock, young man, to Cedric Tillman. So he's my must start. [00:41:05] Speaker B: Yeah, I was like, wasn't worried about the Browns at all. Would. With Watson back there, quarterback, and Al Winston there, I'm like, we're gonna lose. [00:41:12] Speaker C: Yeah, we might. [00:41:12] Speaker B: We lost, like, Cleveland last year at home. [00:41:14] Speaker C: Yep. [00:41:15] Speaker B: All right. My second must start this week is a tight end that I was very disappointed with. I think that was two weeks ago. Tyler Kraft, the starting tight end for the Green Bay Packers. [00:41:24] Speaker C: I think you said Tyler two weeks ago, too. [00:41:27] Speaker B: Oh, I thought it was Tyler's. [00:41:29] Speaker C: I thought. [00:41:29] Speaker B: I thought I called him Tucker, so that I called him Tyler. [00:41:32] Speaker A: Jake's been on a roll today with these names. [00:41:34] Speaker C: Yeah, it's Tucker. Unfortunately. It's Tucker. [00:41:37] Speaker B: Really? I thought it was. I thought I called him Tucker and then you told me it was Tyler. [00:41:42] Speaker C: No, I have him in, like, he pranked. I have him in, like, five leagues because I drive, unfortunately, I drafted Sam Laporta, so. [00:41:48] Speaker A: Oh. [00:41:50] Speaker B: All right. So start T. Craft this. [00:41:53] Speaker A: There we go. [00:41:54] Speaker C: T, comma, Craft comedy. [00:41:55] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:41:56] Speaker B: Start him in your lineup. They're going against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have been bad this year, especially against the tight ends. They're not doing very well. So I think Tucker Craft should be in your lineup. I think he dropped about 12, 13 last week against Houston in their win at home. I expect him to do pretty much the same thing, sit around that 12 to 15 mark. But yeah. Tucker Kraft stardom. [00:42:21] Speaker C: Yeah. Devin Lloyd in pass coverage. That's. I like to see that come. [00:42:26] Speaker A: Barbecue chicken alert. [00:42:27] Speaker C: Yeah. Speaking of the Jaguars on the other side of the ball, let's talk About Brian Thomas Jr Jaguars offense this season been bad, but Brian Thomas Jr BTJ, wide receiver, eight at the moment, averaging 15.5 points per game in PBR leagues. He's had over 20 in three of his past four games. Green Bay secondary. I mean, nothing to laugh at, but not the best in the league by any standards. He's going to have the volume. There's not a ton of other options. Trevor Lawrence has been slinging it pretty well the last couple weeks. Jags are going to be down in this game. I can just about guarantee it. So, btj, get him in your lineup. He should get plenty of work this week, and I think he'll get into the end zone again. He's great. Red zone target. [00:43:11] Speaker A: So Abso Fruit Lee. Saquon Barkley was about 13 yards away from setting his single game rushing record against his former team, the New York Giants. And so I'm going to say a running back who's better than Saquon Barkley, and that's Najee Harris versus the Giants. Yeah. Real talk, the Giants. [00:43:32] Speaker C: Harrison, a must start segment. [00:43:33] Speaker A: Yeah. Who would have thought we'd ever see the day? But the Giants run defense is abysmal. Their defense in general is laughable. And Najee Harris has been turning up a little bit. I can't lie. Because the last two seasons, if you had Najee Harris and you're like, he's a dog, people laughed in your face and pointed at you and made you cry. [00:43:51] Speaker C: He's been looking fast. [00:43:53] Speaker A: He has. Najee Harris. [00:43:54] Speaker B: Najee fast in the same sentence. [00:43:55] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:43:56] Speaker C: He looks. He looks athletic. Man. [00:43:58] Speaker A: We're in an alternate universe right now because Najee Harris is a must start. Who? He's fast. [00:44:02] Speaker B: It's a Russell Wilson effect. [00:44:04] Speaker C: Over 15 yards or over 15 points. Last two games. [00:44:07] Speaker A: Steelers country. Let's ride. Enough. [00:44:12] Speaker B: So I'm gonna go stop JB Enough. [00:44:14] Speaker C: Jalen Warren was healthy this past week as well. [00:44:16] Speaker A: That is true. So Najee Harris, though, that's my must start versus the Giants. So now our must sit. [00:44:24] Speaker B: All right. My first must sit this week going back to that Baltimore and Cleveland game, is starting running back for the Cleveland Browns. That's Nick Chubb. The Ravens run defense has been pretty phenomenal all year except for Tampa Bay. Came out and started that game just pounding the rock and I was concerned we were going to get killed. Luckily, the run defense came back and did what it's always done all year long. And statistically speaking, over the past, I don't know, five years, Nick Chubb has had horrible games. Not horrible, but just not great luck against Baltimore in general. Plus, he's coming off that knee injury. This is only a second game back. He found the end zone last week, but I mean, he's coming off a horrible knee like, like I just said, horrible knee injury, great run defense. I would not start Nick Chubb this week. Unless you have to. [00:45:16] Speaker C: Yeah, I'll talk about a guy. We didn't get to talk about him yet. He was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs this morning. DeAndre Hopkins. You are going to be tempted because it is DeAndre Hopkins. [00:45:28] Speaker B: Pick him up. Pick him up. Pick him up. [00:45:30] Speaker C: It's a big name and it's the Chiefs. [00:45:32] Speaker B: Chiefs, Chiefs, Chiefs. [00:45:34] Speaker C: I've heard it all. They don't have any wide receivers. Patrick Mahomes. DeAndre Hopkins is great. He's not good anymore. I'm sorry. He has been. This is my favorite DeAndre Hopkins stat this season. He was. He'll be a first ballot hall of Famer, but he's past that stage and you can't trust him in fantasy when targeted. This season, quarterbacks have thrown six interceptions while targeting DeAndre Hopkins, which is the stat that he. His career is has been based on his jump ball ability and his ability to get up in the air and, you know, make it happen. He doesn't have that. So, yeah, I don't like it this week or this year actually. Correction. I'm looking at last year's stats. But still, he's not been good this year either. I'm sure that number's pretty high because Will Levis. And also he's playing with the quarterback with the most interceptions in football. [00:46:23] Speaker A: True that. [00:46:23] Speaker C: Patrick Mahomes. That Chiefs offense just isn't going to move the ball at a high rate of speed. DeAndre Hopkins probably isn't going to win on an island Against Nate Hobbs. I wouldn't be. I wouldn't be like jumping for joy that DeAndre Hopkins is a chief. I don't think it's. I don't think it'll have too much fantasy value. I'd keep him. I'd at least give it a week. Maybe he'll be great. [00:46:45] Speaker A: My first must sit is Jalen Waddle must start on the list of Jake Rikers. [00:46:52] Speaker B: Wow. [00:46:52] Speaker A: Yeah. This is never happened. [00:46:53] Speaker C: I agree with Jake. I think you should start. [00:46:55] Speaker A: This has never happened before. But yeah, that's like box. Let's like live stream it. Yeah, let's live stream it on the Instagram. [00:47:06] Speaker C: My face over starting Jalen Waddle. [00:47:08] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:47:09] Speaker C: But in the big 2024. [00:47:10] Speaker A: Yeah. My side of the argument, it's to his first week back. Miami is. They're. They're in. You know, they're going crazy out there in Miami with Tua back. But I think it's going to take a little bit of time for Tua to find his footing after that horrific head injury again. And I think when they are going to air it out, I think it's going to Tyreek Hill because fantasy owners have been extremely angry with how Tyreek Hill has played and I think they got. They got to get him back going. So Arizona's passing defense has been surprisingly solid this year. I'm pretty sure they're within the top five of least points allowed to wide receivers this season. So the Cardinals defense, despite not having any big names other than Buddha Baker, surprisingly good. And with Tua barely coming back, I think it's a big Tyree kill game. And I think Jalen Waddle takes maybe this week to kind of, you know, he's mediocre this week. Next week, though, I think he goes crazy. [00:48:06] Speaker B: All right, I'll cruise through my second must start or must sit. Excuse me, because we only got two minutes left. It's a running back that a lot of people are starting to maybe catch catch wind of in bigger leagues. That's Alexander Madison. He's kind of the RB one over over there in Vegas. Not much going on with Zemir White anymore, but he's playing Kansas City, who's had just amazing defense. So I don't see Madison being able to do much. Especially they're going to be down all game. They're not going to run the ball that much. [00:48:35] Speaker C: I'll keep this super short. This week's episode of who's Patrick Certain guarding. He's back from concussion. It's Deontay Johnson. Panthers will be down they will throw the ball but it's not going Patrick certain way. I can promise you that. Put him on your bench. He scored 1.2 points last week too against Emmanuel Forbes. So I don't know how much faith and Bryce Young is starting this week on top of that beast. So I wouldn't start anybody in that Panthers offense actually. [00:48:58] Speaker A: So another guy we've talked about a lot today is Tony Pollard. I'm going to sit him this week. New look, Titans off offense and I think Tony Pollard against a very, very solid lines run defense struggles and with that Lions offense, Titans are going to be playing behind big time within like the first two drives they're going to be down two touchdowns and I think they're going to have to throw the ball a lot this game. So against the Lions, I don't like Tony Pollard. I'm going to stay away from him this week but maybe in the weeks following he could find his footing again. But with all of that, we got a big thank you all for tuning into WVUA 90.7 FM Tuscaloosa student section fantasy sport. We'll see you all next week. Peace.
